In the blink of an eye, the second day arrived.

"Sir Kai!" Early in the morning, a knock sounded outside Nalant's tent.
"Who is it?" Fully dressed, Nalant directly opened the door.
"Sir Kai, I am His Majesty's messenger... Hiss, Sir Kai, what happened to you?" The person outside jumped in fright when Nalant appeared.
Nalant's right eye was bruised black and blue, and there were several scratch marks on his neck!
"That woman was too fierce. I wasn't prepared, so I ended up like this. Please forgive the laughable sight!" Nalant said with an embarrassed smile.
"Ahem, ahem, that is because Sir Kai knows how to cherish a beauty!" The man at the door wore a strange expression and immediately gave an awkward laugh.
"Yes, did you come to see me for something?"
"That's right, Sir Kai. I am His Majesty's messenger. His Majesty was worried that you might sleep in, so he specifically sent this humble one to inform you. The army is about to set out. Later, you are to accompany His Majesty into battle. Remember to bring that woman from the Onyx Principality!" The messenger immediately got down to business.
"Alright! Thank you, sir! I'll be there at once!" Nalant nodded.
After seeing off the messenger, Nalant returned to the tent. "Miss Natasha, it's time for us to leave!"
"Mm!" Natasha nodded slightly, a blush still lingering on her face—a lingering effect from last night.
Though she had agreed readily last night, several hours had already passed, yet the flush on her cheeks had not faded.
"Oh, right, Nalant. From now on, call me Natasha too. Don't add 'Miss' anymore!"
