A loud bang!
Jordan's head was smashed on the spot!
Inside the Hammer of Justice's hopper, the one unit of Green Gunpowder was exhausted at this moment. The flames that erupted were not strong, but they were enough to burn this middle-aged officer, who was just an ordinary person, to ashes.
Bear!
raging!!
Inside the pit tomb, a ghostly green light illuminated the surroundings.
Gilan silently looked down at the colonel's half-body, burning in the flames.
His dark eyes reflected a ghostly green, and his entire face was indescribably wooden.
It was at this moment that Gilan's Gnosis suddenly became aware of something.
He looked up.
That vision, born of imagination, allowed him to "see" that the cramped pit seemed to be filled with a ghostly, eerie substance.
This substance, like Miasma, is invisible and intangible to ordinary people, but in his spiritual vision, it appears as a scarlet color.
The crimson substance floating around the body sometimes curls up, sometimes stretches out, like mist and illusion, hazy and ethereal.
In an instant.
In the blink of an eye.
Gilan actually fell asleep standing up!
The " Iridescence " warning in his eyes symbolizes the beams of light from the Apocalyptic Dream descending upon him, falling around him, and forming a rainbow-like halo behind his head.
My consciousness went through a moment of confusion.
Gilan suddenly opened her eyes.
He was shocked to find himself no longer in the pit, but standing in a small, open-air stone temple.
The sky was as black as ink, with twelve spiraling pillars standing around it. The ground was made of triangular carved stone slabs pieced together, filled with a mysterious rhythm.
In the very center of the stone hall is a circular platform.
The countertop was covered in blood and gore, with bloodstains dripping onto the floor.
There were thirty or forty corpses lying haphazardly around them. They were all Federation soldiers dressed in brown military uniforms. However, these corpses were missing limbs, some were even headless, and they all died a gruesome death.
Deformed helmets and broken rifles lay scattered around like trash.
At the other end of the circular platform stands a two-meter-tall human-shaped stone statue.
The stone statue depicts an elderly man in a long robe, holding a large hammer with a handle nearly two meters long. The hammerhead is square and covered with reliefs, resembling a gray-white stone brick.
The stone statue of the old man has regular features and a serious expression.
Those stone eyes seemed to possess a spirit, as if they were about to judge justice.
"This is the Hall of Conviction!"
"I am the Hammer of Justice!"
"Those who come here are allies of the devil, and are considered evil!"
The stone statue opened its mouth and emitted an aged voice.
Its tone has an ancient feel, yet it is extremely cold and intimidating.
No sooner had the words left its mouth than it moved. It took a heavy step, making a loud thud that shook the ground.
"The verdict is death!"
The stone statue's voice was powerful and solemn, inspiring conviction.
Thump!!
Its movements were initially clumsy, almost like slow motion, but the next second, Gilan was horrified to find that the other party was already in front of him.
That's incredibly fast!
The stone hammer, the size of a bucket, crashed down!
BOOM!!
At the last second, Gilan darted to the side, but the stone hammer struck the spot where she had been standing. The carved stone slab shattered, and pebbles flew everywhere.
A deafening thud, accompanied by a strong wind, seemed to tear through his vision, making his heart race.
The old stone statue suddenly turned its head to look.
It simply raised its hand, pointed, and commanded:
"A cunning fellow, refusing to obey."
"Ruling! Running is prohibited inside the hall!"
In an instant, Gilan's face stiffened.
He found himself unable to run!
Although he could still take steps, each step was extremely slow, almost like a normal leisurely walk.
I turned my head and looked.
The old stone statue didn't run either; it simply slowly lifted its leg and took a step.
But it didn't walk at all; it was more like jumping!
With a powerful stomp, the carved stone slab shattered into a spiderweb-like pattern of cracks, and his entire body, like a cannonball, shot forward with a gust of wind, instantly appearing in front of Gilan.
Thump!!
The hammer fell again.
Gilan held up his left wrist shield in front of him and dodged to the side.
The flying shards of stone ricocheted like bullets, clattering against his wrist shield. Areas he couldn't block, such as his chest, abdomen, and legs, felt a sharp pain.
"Ha!" He was furious and swung the bronze staff-hammer in his right hand.
The indestructible metal hammerhead traced an arc and landed heavily on the back of the stone statue.
Clang!!
Sparks flew everywhere!
Gilan was taken aback.
He discovered that even with his full-force strike, he hadn't managed to break even a tiny speck of stone the size of a fingernail from the old stone statue's body.
It remained completely still and unharmed.

Black Bottle Cap Brothers Scrapyard.
Upon hearing the intense gunfire coming from inside, Lieutenant Bern's expression changed drastically. He immediately gathered his squad and they rushed in together.
At first glance, it was a ground littered with the corpses of soldiers.
There wasn't a single enemy in sight; the scene before them seemed more like the result of infighting.
The lieutenant was terrified and led his team forward. Soon, they saw the bodies of the Golden Guards who had been with Colonel Jordan, now burned to a crisp.
He followed the trail and arrived at the outside of the pit.
But just as he peeked out, the invisible and intangible crimson aura began to emanate from the cave entrance, enveloping the small team of more than twenty people.
Thump thump!
Without exception, all the soldiers, including the second lieutenant, collapsed to the ground, closed their eyes, and fell asleep on the spot!

Ding!
Following suit, Gilan stepped forward and leaped backward, covering seven or eight meters to distance herself from the old stone statue.
The old stone statue picked up the stone hammer with its thick arms and turned around.
Its movements are slow, yet they give a sense of composure.
Just as Gilan was pondering a countermeasure, a group of soldiers suddenly appeared in the center of the open-air stone hall directly in front of him.
"Huh?!" Lieutenant Bern, the leader, exclaimed in surprise, looking around. "What's going on?!"
His soldiers were equally bewildered, surveying their unfamiliar surroundings.
Gilan, however, had already guessed why this group of people had appeared here. It must be because they had rashly approached Sabbatai Louis's " Nightmare Stele," inadvertently touched that scarlet aura, and were thus forcibly entered into a dream, dragged into this space.
His mind raced, and he thought to himself:
' Vivi, confused.'
"Yes, Master..."
From the depths of my consciousness, I heard the voice of the familiar.
Immediately, several soldiers who had inadvertently spotted Gilan hesitated for a moment, then looked away, as if they hadn't noticed anyone standing not far away.
"This is the Hall of Conviction!"
"I am the Hammer of Justice!"
"You are all executioners who slaughter the weak!"
The stone statue of an old man, holding a hammer in both hands, solemnly spoke.
The ancient, aged sounds Echo within the stone hall.
"The verdict is death!"
To the astonishment of Lieutenant Bern and his soldiers, the old stone statue suddenly leaped up and crashed down.
With a soft thud, two people were instantly trampled to death!
The skull, chest cavity, and bones were shattered, and blood splattered everywhere!
"Fire!" The lieutenant took a step back in fright and shouted immediately, "Shoot at the statue!"
The soldiers snapped out of their daze, mustered their strength, and raised their guns to fire.
Bang bang bang bang!!
A volley of bullets struck the old stone statue.
Aside from the sparks flying and the constant clanging, the old man remained intact; his stone statue was harder than steel.
The old stone statue swung its sledgehammer horizontally.
Whoosh--Bang!!
The massive, heavy stone hammer struck the flesh, instantly sending blood and flesh flying and killing three or four soldiers on the spot!
Their bodies were deformed, their limbs twisted, and they flew around like light rag dolls, crashing heavily onto the carved stone slabs, splattering blood.
Bang!
BOOM BOOM!!
The old stone statue continued to swing its hammer, indiscriminately slaughtering the soldiers present. Its body was covered in blood and flesh, and its unchanging, rigid, solemn expression was quite eerie.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Gilan hid behind a spiral stone pillar.
His expression was grave.
Even his full-force attack wouldn't be enough to break through the stone statue elder's defenses, and if he were to take a hit from the elder's hammer, he would probably immediately lose his fighting ability, or even be crushed to death on the spot.
Suddenly, he saw colorful lights flickering in his vision.
The word "Iridescence" seems to be changing.
Gilan was taken aback.
'Yes, I was affected by that crimson aura and fell asleep standing up.'
So, this is a dream...
