They were folklorist Maive, boxer Junio, veteran Kulin, doctor Brennan, and journalist Olin.

As for the other six protagonists, they had met no good end... Every one of them had been hunted down and slaughtered by the representatives of the Ascetic Sect and White Dove Tower.

Without exception, all six had died miserable deaths.

Whether inside or outside the film, everyone understood perfectly well that the purpose of this was to leave their opponents with no way out.

Naturally, it also left themselves with no way out.

It was clear that the Ascetic Sect and White Dove Tower were exceedingly confident.

The film followed and gave close-ups to the representatives of every faction. They had all passed through the forest on the outskirts and arrived in Old Peel City from different directions.

Among them, the two-man team from the Star Hermit Society encountered the two-man team from the Ascetic Sect at a street corner.

A conflict between the two sides was inevitable.

After a brief exchange of probing attacks, the aftershocks of their battle destroyed several storefronts along the street, snapped multiple lampposts, and left the road looking as though it had been plowed, battered and ruined.

The representatives from both sides were mystics with exceptional physical prowess, and their clash was tremendously imposing.

Had they not deliberately avoided the protagonists under their respective protection, the aftershocks of their exchange alone could have easily killed them.

After a brief clash, both sides stopped at the right moment in tacit agreement. Each had suffered minor injuries
