The even more powerful "Warlords" were Autumnal Grief parasites. Their bodies could withstand second-rank and third-rank Spirit Mystics head-on, and because their Mind Kingdoms had been contaminated, they did not fear mental assaults;

The Commander and the Minister of Propaganda joined forces to hollow out a portion of the Committee's leadership, usurping its place to establish another department, the "Purification Corps," publicly known as the "Alcohol Temperance Association." They also promoted ideas such as "the harmfulness of art";

The Minister of Propaganda commissioned the renowned physician Jemington Ram to publish An Investigation into the Effects of Spirits on the Human Body and Mind, which stated that "excessive drinking is harmful to physical and mental health."
