"Store magic power?" Chris echoed.
"It can serve as a magic power container," Kelly replied.
For a moment, neither of them understood the value Liszt was talking about. In the end, Liszt himself voiced the value he had in mind. "A gourd can be regarded as a 'caster.' Could we use it to create magic that can be released at will?"
"Magic that can be released at will?" Neither of them had quite opened up their thinking yet.
Liszt could only continue explaining helplessly. He had a broad perspective, but others did not. "Could gourds be used to make one-use magic that even ordinary people could release?" This was equivalent to magic scrolls—though this world naturally had no magic scrolls.
"Your Majesty means releasing magic through gourds?" Chris had already grasped the idea.
Kelly also suddenly understood, but she quickly shook her head. "Gourds are too small. They cannot store much magic power, so at most they could be made into items that release ordinary magic. Their effect would not be very significant. And inscribing a magic array for automatic casting would definitely consume a great deal of materials."
"This isn't the largest kind of gourd. There should be larger gourds in the gourd plantation, perhaps ones capable of storing more magic power—enough to release advanced magic. Besides, they do not necessarily have to release offensive magic. Perhaps they could serve as a power source for mechanical devices."
Liszt thought of a device and continued, "If the Magic-Powered Two-Wheeled Bicycle used gourds as its driving force, wouldn't that mean it could keep running, allowing even ordinary people to ride it at full speed?"
The Magic-Powered Two-Wheeled Bicycle and its inventor, Gandalf Truth, had previously appeared on the cover of Grand Arcanist.
"That is quite an ingenious idea. However, the magic
