Though her body was still very weak, after being fussed over by the commoner farmwife, she had managed to sit on a stool and could now answer Liszt's questions.

"Yes, my lord Baron." Chris nodded, then said in a voice that still carried a trace of hoarseness, "Thank you for saving me from the sea. I truly do not know how I could ever repay such kindness."

Liszt casually said, "How about working for Flower Town?"

"Ah?" Chris did not immediately react. By the usual script, they should at least exchange a few polite words before discussing repayment. "I... of course. My life was saved by you, my lord Baron, and Chris is very willing to work for you... it is only that I am worried I may implicate you."
