"Take a deep breath, Zyra!"
Seeing Zyra about to cast its sowing magic, Liszt hurriedly stopped it, then rebuked Pike. "Pike, you are forbidden from using insulting words against our own elves!"
Pike looked utterly unconcerned. "Pike, handsome Great Elf; Zyra, as ugly as Fizz, Tahm, and Eddie; Nami brings Pike food, it is not bad; Mickey, never seen it, must be ugly too; A Ke, gentle big sister; Liszt, as handsome as Pike."
Liszt's face immediately darkened. "Shut up, Pike!"
"Hehe." Pike lazily sat down and continued baring his teeth at Zyra.
"Wuwa!"
"Wuwa!"
"Wuwa!"
Zyra's anger was hard to quell. If Liszt had not held it back with both hands, it would definitely have rushed over to fight Pike—whether it could win was another matter, but its stance had to be clear.
"Pike, review the Snake Script I taught you today." Liszt flicked Pike's broad forehead, his expression grim—ever since this fellow had learned to speak, its tongue had grown increasingly venomous. It had clearly learned alongside the gentle A Ke and the gentlemanly Liszt himself, yet had not picked up even a shred of elegance.
Pike flopped onto the table. "Pike wants jade powder."
"I'll check your work tonight. If you haven't learned the Snake Script properly, you won't get anything to eat!"
"Hehe."
Liszt returned to the castle with the furious Zyra. Only after soothing it for a long while did its anger finally subside.
Liszt was quite helpless about this. Zyra's fiery temper was not to be underestimated, and Pike, Fizz, Tahm, and Eddie were not mild-tempered elves either. Only Nami and Mickey gave him peace of mind. If not for the suppression of their contracts, and if land elves and water elves lived together, they would surely end up fighting sooner or later.
