This chapter was a bonus update for Alliance Leader "Glorious Battle Hymn." There have been too many major alliance leader rewards—Old Bai has been squeezed dry. Miserable!
After resting for a night at Tulip Castle, Liszt left the next day. As agreed, he visited Lady Penelope's small castle and selected a potted plant from her balcony to take home.
However, after using the Magic Eye to inspect them carefully, he regretfully found that none of the potted plants showed any signs of magical feedback.
Not a single pot contained an Elf Bug.
Still, he had a servant casually carry away a pot that looked like a cluster of little stones.
"These are lithops. Look how lovely they are. Every split little stone is a lithops plant, and there are twenty-five in this pot. May Knight's Glory watch over you. Perhaps one of the ones that blooms will nurture a Little Elf, my handsome young man."
Lady Penelope offered her warm blessing.
She had once thought Liszt looked far too much like Melissa Long-Yam, a woman she detested. But now, the more she looked at him, the more incomparably handsome she found him.
