"Maintenance of the Reed Marsh Magic Gate will be entrusted to you, Kelly. If anything changes, send word through the magic platform at once." As he departed from the Reed Marsh Magic Gate, Liszt gave his instructions solemnly.
Kelly Truth replied gravely, "Rest assured, Your Highness. We will keep the Reed Marsh Magic Gate under close surveillance. At the slightest sign of trouble, we will report to you and Lord Ake Roides."

Next, Liszt and Ake stuffed the space rings full of magical materials, then rode the Invisible Dragon Bard straight into the Reed Marsh Magic Gate, swiftly entering the world beyond matter. Wrapped in spatial magic, they moved through that world like fish in water, free and unrestrained.
They found the natural node of Mind Island and passed directly through it.
There were already some knights and magicians on the island, directing serfs in laying the groundwork. Liszt set Ake down, then removed the materials from the space rings and let Ake arrange the magic array there.
Liszt continued riding Bard, weaving through space.
He still had much work to do. He needed to gather magical materials from places such as Black Horse Island and Bulltail City—many of the materials had been exhausted by the Reed Marsh Magic Gate and had to be collected anew.
