Journey to Ancient Egypt

The wizards knew Ian had left.

The Sun God watched Ian disappear from his sight.

"He used some kind of shielding method to block my gaze." The Sun God stood upon the hillside, his golden sun chariot hovering beside him as its scorching radiance illuminated the earth. He stared in the direction Raven had vanished, his brow slightly furrowed as Ian's meaningful farewell echoed through his mind.

"Give my regards to your daughter."

Of course, he knew there was a special contract between his daughter and Ian. However, no one knew how that contract had come to be; none of the gods could trace its origin.

Because of this, the Sun God felt somewhat uneasy. Yet what troubled him most now was not only that Raven had acted as though it knew him well, but also that it seemed to have known his daughter for a very long time.

Was that right?

And why did that fellow know how to block his gaze? Raven was indeed powerful, but its strength lay only in its status and itself. It should not have been familiar with the powers controlled by the gods.

After all, Raven had disappeared for a long time after the Titans fell. It had never appeared again during that time. Surely it could not have been hiding somewhere all along, spying on the mortal world?

Ian was already long gone, and no one could give him an answer. The Sun God shook his head, turned, and stepped onto his chariot. With a flick of the reins, four celestial horses wreathed in golden flames neighed and pulled him into the heavens, racing toward Mount Olympus. Sunlight atop Mount Olympus blazed like fire.

The golden chariot split the clouds and slowly descended amid golden radiance.
