Four o'clock in the afternoon.
Luo Ye walked out of the cake shop and was drenched like a drowned rat by a sudden downpour on his way home.
He ran into a nearby little restaurant to take shelter from the rain, then carefully checked whether the cake had been damaged.
He had ordered this cake two days in advance. It absolutely could not be ruined.

Luo Ye studied the cake box and realized he simply could not open it.
The box was wrapped all around with an exquisite ribbon, and there were two layers of packaging. The outer box was opaque.
To take it apart, he would have to untie the ribbon.
The problem was that if he untied it, he would not know how to tie it back.

Thinking of this, Luo Ye gave up on opening the box, and his mood soured.
He could be casual about his own birthday, but for his senior sister's birthday, even the slightest imperfection would make him unhappy.
All he could do was pray that he had not damaged the cake while running here to escape the rain.
"Young man, is that some kind of gift?"
Seeing the large box on the table, the restaurant owner came over and asked curiously.
"It's a birthday cake. It's my wife's birthday today."
Though he was not in the best mood, Luo Ye still forced out a smile and patiently answered her question.
"Huh? You don't look that old. You're married already?" the owner asked in surprise.
"Not yet, but... I'm already engaged."
Every time he told someone that he was engaged, Luo Ye felt a wave of pride rise
