On the day of the Graduate School Entrance Exam, Jiang University was engulfed in a tense atmosphere. Classrooms had been requisitioned as Exam Rooms, and all grades had temporarily suspended classes.
But to Jiang University's students, this was practically a holiday dropped from heaven. The freshmen especially made all sorts of plans for the rare break.
By lunchtime, a considerable crowd had gathered at the school entrance.
Some were Jiang University students with nothing to do, while others were candidates taking the Graduate School Entrance Exam.
Most of the graduate school examinees held books they would need for their next exam, trying to cram in as much knowledge as possible.
Li Haoyang was among them. As soon as he finished his exam, he went to Zhou Ye Bookstore and studied on the second floor.
Whether he had done well on the previous exam no longer mattered. What mattered was not letting it affect his mindset for the next one.
Xu Xiaojia sat beside him in silence, concern written across her face.
Before long, it was time for the afternoon exam. Li Haoyang set off once more toward the exam room.
There were not many customers on the second floor of the bookstore today either. After Li Haoyang left, Xu Xiaojia returned to the first floor and sat at the counter. Looking at Song Ruo in front of her, she said worriedly, "I wonder if he'll get in..."
