Luo Ye had originally thought the 3,000-meter race would be scheduled last among all events.

Who would have thought that by the afternoon of the Sports Meet's first day, the 3,000-meter event had already begun.

The number "123" was pinned to Luo Ye's back with clips. It was his athlete number.

Ever since his freshman year, he had kept up his morning runs every day. Although he had slacked off somewhat during the second semester of freshman year and over summer break, he had resumed the habit in sophomore year.

His stamina now had undergone a world of change compared to last year, when he had crammed at the last minute.

There were not many people in all of Jiangcheng University who kept up with morning runs like he did, much less ones who had all signed up for the 3,000-meter race.

Luo Ye, Li Haoyang, and Wang Dachui stood together. Since it was a long-distance race, it was like a car race—there were no lanes or starting order. Once the gun went off, everyone ran together.
