Background / History

Su Baizhou spent her early childhood in a village, where she became known as the local “child king” for fighting other children who provoked her. After her maternal grandfather died, her mother, Fan Xinya, took her to live in the city with her parents. Her father’s suspicion and abuse toward Fan Xinya extended to Su Baizhou: he doubted her parentage, disparaged her appearance, and treated her school struggles as an embarrassment. 29 394 515 1185

Her transition to city school was difficult. Initially behind academically, she was mocked by her father and bullied by classmates, who targeted her through pranks, theft, false dating rumors, and harassment. Su Baizhou fought back against her bullies, but her father refused to support her.
