Snow

The first snow of winter fell upon the city of Jiangcheng.

Snow rarely fell in the Jiangnan region, especially such heavy, goose-feather snow as today's. It had been a long time since they had seen anything like it.

The river in Jiangcheng still flowed. Snowflakes melted the instant they landed on its surface, while those that settled on the ancient-style buildings along its banks draped them in a white filter.

Because of the snowfall, Jiangcheng Ancient Town was sparsely populated. Almost no one would come here to sightsee in this weather.

After the snow fell, it felt as though one had woken up to find the world transformed.

And this snow marked the beginning of Luo Ye and Su Baizhou's second winter since they had met.
