Su Youcai Gave Birth

The last day of December.

Eleven thirty at night.

Normally, Luo Ye would have already been lying in bed, beginning his nighttime routine.

Then he would fall asleep promptly at twelve thirty.

But today, he moved a small stool into the living room and sat there with Fairy Senior Sister.

Just moments ago, Su Youcai had run into the Cat Birthing Room on her own, lying in the corner with her tongue hanging out.

Realizing that Youcai was about to give birth, Luo Ye had no desire to sleep. He sat there instead, waiting for her to deliver the kittens.

Su Baizhou's gaze was fixed on Su Youcai as well.

She had grown up in the countryside. Back then, her family's dog had gotten pregnant and given birth to a litter of puppies.

The dog currently in her old family home's yard was the grandson of that dog.

Although Su Baizhou had no experience delivering babies, she had watched her mother deliver the dog's puppies from start to finish.

Cats and dogs should be about the same.

She had seen it, so she knew how.

"Junior Brother, how many males and females do you think there'll be?"

"I'm guessing I'll gain six granddaughters."

Su Baizhou shook her head, indicating that was impossible.

If the odds of each kitten being male or female were fifty percent,

then the odds of all six being female...

That was far too low.

And so, they watched Su Youcai lie in the Cat Birthing Room for a full two hours.

Nothing happened.

Youcai even went out for a drink of water before leisurely returning to lie down and stick out her tongue again.

By then, it was already one thirty in the morning.

Their schedules were healthy, so they were both extremely sleepy by then.
