Background and History
The Tree of Life once connected realms and nourished the four great starfields with its own life essence. Sorensen's theft of its origin left it close to collapse. Scarlett's light and Canglan's water could not arrest the decline; Mo Ruier and Vermilion Bird later managed to rekindle its vitality, though Mo Ruier warned that a full recovery by ordinary means would take an immense span of time 88 89 93.
A later account reveals the Tree's decision to undergo nirvana rather than remain in prolonged decline. Puni respected its choice, and gathered powers contributed energy to the process. Its new body was stronger, but its spiritual origin had voluntarily entered the cycle of reincarnation. Puni sealed the soulless tree to prevent its power from being misused 97 98 99.
That origin reached Earth and became Lin Ze'an, then traveled to Douluo Star and was born again to Lin Gang and Jin Ling with its ancient memories sealed. After witnessing the Tree's suffering through the Space-Time Realm God's intervention, Lin Ze'an recalled its power into himself. He subsequently revived the Tree's life force across the Douluo Universe 85 86 99 100 102 94 95.
