Inosuke and Zenitsu decapitated Daki, but she survived and revealed her brother Gyutaro, the other half of Upper Rank Six. Gyutaro attacked Zenitsu while his blood blades trapped Inosuke, leaving Zenitsu to face his full assault alone.

  • Zenitsu created an opening for Inosuke, who used Beast Breathing: Third Fang: Fang Rend to cut off Daki’s head.
  • Daki survived decapitation and cried for her brother, while Zenitsu warned Inosuke and Tanjiro of danger.
  • Gyutaro emerged from Daki’s body and comforted his sister before turning his killing intent on the Demon Slayers.

Tanjiro escaped the rubble and joined Zenitsu and Inosuke, but Hiruma’s arrival turned the battle against Gyutaro and Daki. Dōkū separated the Demon Slayers from Hiruma with his spatial sludge, then watched in shock as Hiruma quickly reached the top of his giant purple sphere.

  • Nezuko woke, retrieved Tanjiro’s Nichirin Blade, and helped him escape the rubble so he could join the fight.
  • Hiruma arrived and shattered Gyutaro’s blood blades, then ordered Tanjiro to help the Kakushi evacuate civilians.
  • Gyutaro and Daki shared their vision, but Hiruma and Tengen cornered them with coordinated attacks.
  • Dōkū’s spatial sludge saved the siblings and swallowed Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Tengen, leaving Hiruma outside the arena.

Ch. 218Blood Cocoon

Dōkū unleashed waves of mass-produced Demons over the district, and Hiruma fought to protect the fleeing civilians. Inside the purple sphere, Gyutaro and Daki transformed their battle with Tengen and the others by activating their strongest Blood Demon Art, Blood Cocoon.

  • Dōkū vanished into its spatial Blood Demon Art and released more than a hundred black Demons from cocoons above the district.
  • Hiruma leaped into the sky and destroyed the falling Demons before they could reach the ground, then ordered the civilians to keep running.
  • Hiruma concealed his injuries from Dōkū while Shinobu steadied herself and prepared for the next wave of Demons.
  • Inside the purple sphere, Tengen fought Gyutaro while Daki was repeatedly cut down by The Trio and Nezuko.
  • Gyutaro formed the Death Blood Scythe, and Daki wrapped herself in a blood-red cocoon as the siblings activated Blood Cocoon.

Ch. 219Godspeed

Tengen and the others battled Gyutaro, whose Blood Cocoon and Daki repeatedly shielded him from their attacks. Zenitsu used Godspeed to sever the Blood Threads and wound Gyutaro, while Nezuko survived a blow meant for Tanjiro; Tengen’s musical score was nearly complete as the fight continued.

  • Tengen led the attack, but Gyutaro sliced apart his explosives and blocked the team’s combined strikes with Daki’s Blood Cocoon.
  • Gyutaro poisoned Tengen and nearly killed him, but Nezuko’s flames burned away the poison while Tanjiro blocked the killing blow.
  • Gyutaro targeted Tanjiro, and adult-form Nezuko took the blood scythe through the heart in his place.
  • Zenitsu unleashed Thunder Breath: Thunderclap and Flash: Godspeed, severing the Blood Threads and breaking Gyutaro’s Blood Barrier before shattering his scythe and wounding him.
  • Tanjiro and Tengen pressed Gyutaro while Inosuke intercepted the Blood Threads, and Tengen’s musical score neared completion.

Ch. 220Finale

Tengen completed his Musical Score analysis and fought Gyutaro with Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Nezuko’s help. Tanjiro beheaded Gyutaro, and Zenitsu cut off Daki’s head, leaving both siblings defeated as the exhausted Demon Slayers collapsed.

  • Tengen completed his Musical Score analysis and used it to predict Gyutaro’s attacks while Nezuko burned away poison and Inosuke joined the fight.
  • Tengen sent Tanjiro after Daki, but Gyutaro unleashed his final Blood Tornado and rushed to protect his sister.
