Ch. 241Don't Interrupt the Training, You Jealous Pot

Zenitsu and the other swordsmen completed the timed running course, while Zenitsu and Inosuke’s rivalry earned them extra laps. During Mitsuri’s flexibility training, Hiruma dragged the jealous Iguro Obanai away from the training hall, lifting the oppressive mood.

  • Zenitsu hurried out to train, and Hiruma met Giyu at the handoff point before the timed run began.
  • Zenitsu abandoned the race to attack Inosuke after Nezuko cheered for Inosuke, allowing Tanjiro, Genya, and Kanao to finish ahead of him.
  • Tengen punished Zenitsu and Inosuke with one hundred laps for fighting and failing the run on time.
  • Mitsuri led the swordsmen through painful flexibility training while Iguro Obanai watched from outside, glaring jealously at anyone near her.
  • Hiruma called Iguro a jealous pot and dragged him away, ending the pressure hanging over the training hall.

Ch. 242Training Time for the Hashira

Hiruma trained the Hashira through a series of evening sparring matches, helping them gain insight into the Transparent World. After Gyomei fought Hiruma with real weapons, the Corps ended another day of training and continued preparing for the final battle.

  • Sanemi practiced the Transparent World with Hiruma and eagerly asked to keep sparring, before Giyu took his turn.
  • Kanae, Mitsuri, Shinobu, and Makomo shared sweets and talked while Muichiro and his brother reacted to their conversation about romance.
  • Iguro and the other Hashira took turns fighting Hiruma, while Tengen painted the training and then accidentally set off a bomb.
  • Hiruma and Gyomei fought with real weapons, but Hiruma stopped short of striking for real, and Gyomei said he had still learned from the battle.
  • The Hashira rested or went on patrol as another day of training ended, with the Demon Slayer Corps continuing to prepare for the final battle.

Ch. 243An Unreasonable Request

Hiruma rejected Kagaya’s plan to use himself as bait and promised Yushiro he would save Tamayo. Tamayo gave Hiruma the finished Human Transformation Potion, which could cure Nezuko and poison Muzan, though its effects had not been tested.

  • Hiruma refused to let Kagaya become bait and discussed the Corps’ training and strategy with him.
  • Amane thanked Hiruma for persuading Kagaya not to sacrifice himself.
  • Yushiro told Hiruma the medicine was finished and asked him to save Tamayo, who intended to use herself as bait; Hiruma agreed.
  • Hiruma, Yushiro, and Tamayo gathered around the case, and Tamayo explained the potion’s intended effects and untested status.
  • Hiruma opened the case and saw three vials inside.

Ch. 244The Medicine Takes Effect, a Moment's Respite

Tamayo administered her medicine to Nezuko while Tanjiro and Hiruma waited, and the treatment began to take effect. As Hiruma and Shinobu shared a peaceful night together, Tanjiro announced at dawn that Nezuko had turned back into a human.

  • Tamayo explained that the syringe marked with a Wisteria Flower contained poison prepared for Muzan, and she and Hiruma agreed to treat Nezuko the next day.
  • At the Butterfly Mansion, Nezuko agreed to take Tamayo's medicine, and Tanjiro affirmed his faith that she would become human again.
  • Nezuko collapsed after Tamayo injected her, and Tamayo asked Tanjiro and Hiruma to leave while she monitored the medicine's effects.
  • Tanjiro reassured the waiting Kamado family that Nezuko would recover, then sent them to Headquarters 3 as the evacuation continued.
  • Hiruma and Shinobu lay together on the Butterfly Mansion roof and fell asleep, agreeing to face the coming battle together.
  • At dawn, Tanjiro announced that Tamayo's medicine had worked and Nezuko had turned back into a human.

Ch. 245The Final Battle Began with an Explosion

At Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters, Hiruma and Ubuyashiki Kagaya confronted Muzan, and Hiruma lured Muzan into an explosion by using a vial of the girl’s blood as bait. Muzan survived the blast and began regenerating in the crater as the final battle began.

  • Muzan arrived at Corps Headquarters and froze when he saw Hiruma dressed to resemble Yoriichi Tsugikuni.
  • Ubuyashiki Kagaya confronted Muzan about the Ubuyashiki curse and the lives he had taken, while Hiruma taunted Muzan as a coward.
  • Hiruma declared that he would kill Muzan, threw aside a vial of the girl’s blood, and carried Kagaya away as a fuse ignited.
  • Muzan rushed toward the vial, but Hiruma’s explosion swallowed it before it reached the ground.
  • The blast flattened the Oyakata Mansion and left Muzan charred in a crater, where he began regenerating.

Ch. 246Infinity Castle Match

Hiruma and the Demon Slayer Corps weakened Muzan with Tamayo’s poison and launched a coordinated attack. Muzan escaped into the Infinity Castle, taking fifteen swordsmen with him, and the battle continued there.

  • Hiruma returned to the crater while Shinjuro carried Ubuyashiki Kagaya to safety.
  • Tamayo revealed her poison and let Muzan absorb her arm, dosing him with medicine that aged and weakened him while preventing his escape by division.
  • Hiruma severed Muzan’s whips, rescued Tamayo, and threw her to Yushiro, who caught her.
  • Gyomei and the other swordsmen attacked Muzan together, but a biwa sounded and Muzan vanished into the Infinity Castle with fifteen fighters.
  • The fifteen swordsmen entered the Infinity Castle through glowing doors, ready to keep fighting Muzan.

Ch. 247Entering the Infinity Castle

The Demon Slayer Corps entered the Infinity Castle, where its members were scattered across the shifting rooms while Ubuyashiki Kagaya used the Kasugai Crows to map the fortress. Tanjiro and Tendo Hiruma confronted Muzan, but the biwa player teleported Muzan away before they could attack.

  • Inosuke, Kanao, Zenitsu, and Genya entered the Infinity Castle and prepared to fight the Demons inside.
  • Sanemi and Genya reunited in their old home, while Zenitsu vowed to kill Kaigaku.
  • Tamayo kissed Yushiro before he entered the Infinity Castle, and she promised to wait for him.
  • Yushiro used Shared Vision on the Kasugai Crows, allowing Ubuyashiki Kagaya to map the castle with Rengoku Shinjuro and Ubuyashiki Kirito nearby.
  • Tanjiro and Tendo Hiruma faced Muzan, who was weakened by poison and declared he had not lost.
  • The biwa sounded and Muzan vanished from before Tanjiro, Hiruma, and the others.

Ch. 248Fire Thunder God, One Slash Kill

Zenitsu defeated Upper Rank Five Kaigaku with Thunder Breath’s Seventh Form, Fire Thunder God, and continued through Infinity Castle after treating his injured legs. Meanwhile, Sanemi and Genya fought through Demons, realized they had been trapped in an unfamiliar area, and blasted open their surroundings into a vast purple world.

  • Zenitsu confronted Kaigaku and killed him with a single use of Thunder Breath’s Seventh Form, Fire Thunder God.
  • Zenitsu drank half of Save Your Life Three Thousand to treat the strain on his legs, then opened a door into another area of Infinity Castle.

  • Sanemi cut through the ceiling, and the brothers sensed that the area beyond it was unfamiliar.
  • Genya used gunpowder balls and gunshots to blast through the walls, collapsing the house and revealing a vast purple world.

Ch. 249Father and Sons' Battle

Sanemi and Genya battled their father, Dōkū, inside the demon’s Infinity Castle domain as he used the space and absorbed demons to grow stronger. Genya held off Dōkū’s massive attack so Sanemi could strike, and the chapter ended as Dōkū swung a fist at Sanemi during his attack on its neck.

  • Dōkū emerged as Upper Fourth and confronted Sanemi and Genya, who attacked him for abandoning and abusing their family.
  • Sanemi and Genya fought Dōkū inside a floating sphere in the abyss, and Genya realized the sphere was Dōkū’s Blood Demon Art domain.
  • Dōkū absorbed at least a hundred demons, grew into a ten-meter giant, and shrank the space to limit Sanemi and Genya’s movement.
  • Genya took Dōkū’s punch head-on and held it in place during its attack cooldown, then called for Sanemi to strike.
  • Sanemi unleashed Wind Breathing, Ninth Form: Idaten Storm, and charged at Dōkū’s neck as Dōkū swung its other fist toward him.

Ch. 250We're Looking for the Demon Controlling This Castle

Genya and Sanemi defeated Upper Rank Four Dōkū, surviving only because Mitsuri and Iguro rescued them from the collapsing space. Sanemi carried Genya toward a temporary base while Hiruma and Tanjiro continued searching for Muzan.

  • Genya swallowed a blood capsule, gained enough strength to free himself, and held Dōkū in place so Sanemi could behead it.
  • As the collapsing space separated the brothers, Sanemi threw Genya toward Dōkū, and Genya finished the weakened Demon with their shared resolve.
  • Mitsuri and Iguro pulled Sanemi and Genya onto a platform; Genya fainted, and Sanemi carried him toward the base with Sourai leading the way.
  • Sanemi met Hiruma and Tanjiro in a corridor, learned who was at the temporary base, and left with Genya.
  • Hiruma told Tanjiro that Dōkū had been the Shinazugawa brothers' biological father, and Tanjiro lamented how fate could toy with people.

Ch. 251I Am Your Ancestor

Sanemi carried Genya back to the medical area while the Tokito brothers confronted Upper Rank One, Kokushibo. After defeating them, Kokushibo treated the wounded Muichiro and revealed that he was their blood ancestor.

  • Sanemi fought through a horde of Demons, brought Genya to Shinobu Kocho and Makomo, and returned to the battle.
  • Muichiro and Muichiro encountered Kokushibo, who urged them to leave but fought them when they attacked.
  • Kokushibo overwhelmed the brothers, critically wounding Muichiro and pinning him to a pillar.
  • Muichiro recovered rapidly after taking medicine, and Kokushibo recognized the recovery mechanism as resembling Tendo Hiruma's.
  • Kokushibo treated Muichiro's wounds and told the stunned brothers that he was their blood ancestor.

Ch. 252The Ultimate Charge of the Boar

Kokushibo revealed that Muichiro and his brother were his descendants, then fought Gyomei, Sabito, Tengen, and the Tokito brothers as they tried to bring him down. Inosuke struck from concealment and cut into Kokushibo’s neck, leaving the swordsman surrounded by six Hashira-class fighters and finally at a disadvantage.

  • Kokushibo told Muichiro that he and his brother descended from Kokushibo’s children and tossed Muichiro toward his brother, urging them to leave.
  • Gyomei and Sabito attacked Kokushibo, but he destroyed their techniques and sent them crashing through several floors.
  • Tengen joined the battle, and Kokushibo shattered one of his Nichirin Blades before Sabito helped him escape the blow.

  • The five other fighters recovered and charged again, leaving Kokushibo facing six attackers and at a disadvantage.

Ch. 253The Moon Chasing the Sun

Inosuke, Gyomei, Sabito, and Tengen worked together to decapitate Kokushibo after Gyomei awakened the Transparent World and Kokushibo’s blade broke. As Kokushibo wondered whether it had lost, it saw a figure resembling the sun emerge behind the surviving Demon Slayers.

  • Kokushibo unleashed a devastating Moon Breathing attack, but Gyomei awakened the Transparent World and blocked it while protecting Inosuke.
  • Gyomei and Tengen interrupted Kokushibo’s next assault, and Sabito broke its sword after explosions struck the demon.
  • Inosuke severed one of Kokushibo’s arms with his thrown Nichirin Blades, while Sabito and Gyomei pressed their attacks.
  • Inosuke used Tengen’s golden greatsword to decapitate Kokushibo as the others created an opening.
  • Gyomei carried Inosuke and Sabito back to Tengen, while Kokushibo saw a red-haired figure in a red haori standing behind them.

Ch. 254Obsession

Kokushibo survived decapitation and nearly defeated the exhausted Demon Slayers, but Muichiro’s words and memories of his brother Yoriichi made him question what he had become. He turned to ash after revealing his name as Tsugikuni Yagemasa and asking his descendants to protect the two pieces of the flute, leaving Muichiro and his brother to recover them.

  • Kokushibo regenerated after being beheaded and unleashed a devastating attack that knocked Tengen unconscious and badly wounded Sabito and Gyomei.
  • Gyomei urged Inosuke to flee for reinforcements, but Inosuke refused to abandon the fight.
  • Muichiro mocked Kokushibo for abandoning a swordsman’s heart, and the reflections in shattered Nichirin Blade fragments made Kokushibo confront his appearance and past.
  • Kokushibo remembered his childhood bond with Yoriichi, his growing jealousy, and their final meeting, when he cut apart the flute Yoriichi had treasured.
  • Kokushibo identified himself as Tsugikuni Yagemasa and asked his descendants to keep the two flute pieces safe before he turned to ash.
  • Muichiro and his brother picked up one piece of the flute each and talked about their ancestor as they supported one another.

Ch. 255Map Complete, Fighting for Control

  • Kagaya drank Save Your Life Three Thousand, declared the city under Corps control, and identified the path to Nakime through a Kasugai Crow.
  • Mitsuri and Iguro Obanai carried Yushiro through the Demon horde, while Corps swordsmen stayed behind to hold off their pursuers.
  • Mitsuri and Iguro Obanai reached Nakime, then hurled Yushiro toward her and destroyed her biwa to prevent her from playing.
  • Yushiro grappled with Nakime and fought Muzan’s cells as their bodies crashed to the ground.
  • Tanjiro and Hiruma heard Yushiro’s scream, then met Kanao guiding a medical team and wounded swordsmen through the corridor.
  • Inosuke boasted that he had slashed Upper Rank One while coughing blood.

Ch. 256Still as Water

Kyojuro and Giyu joined forces against Akaza, whose strongest attacks overwhelmed them and left Giyu caught in Falling Silver. As Akaza hesitated at the memory of Koyuki, Giyu broke free and entered the Transparent World.

  • Kyojuro refused Akaza's offer to become a Demon and began fighting with his Demon Slayer Mark activated.
  • Giyu arrived as Kyojuro and Akaza opened a vast arena, and he joined Kyojuro in attacking Akaza with water and fire techniques.

Ch. 257Rengoku's Legacy, Hakuji's Story

Kyojuro and Giyu fought Akaza as Koyuki’s voice awakened Hakuji’s buried memories, and Kyojuro drew on the Rengoku family’s inherited will to survive Akaza’s combined Blood Demon Art. Akaza regained his human memories and began telling Kyojuro and Giyu about his tragic childhood, leaving his story unfinished.

  • Giyu and Kyojuro attacked Akaza, but Akaza countered and unleashed a combined Blood Demon Art.
  • Kyojuro pushed Giyu out of danger as the Rengoku family’s ancestors passed their strength and conviction into his Nichirin Blade.
  • Koyuki’s voice and image brought Akaza to tears, and Kyojuro’s strike melted the falling attack.
  • Akaza remembered that he had once sought strength to protect Koyuki, thanked Kyojuro and Giyu, and introduced himself as Hakuji.
  • Hakuji recounted his harsh childhood, his sick father’s suicide, and his own exile before his story turned toward a new fate.

Ch. 258Decisive Battle

Hakuji remembered his human life, atoned for his sins, and died as Koyuki welcomed him home. With Akaza and Kokushibo dead and Yushiro controlling Nakime, Hiruma and Tanjiro reached Muzan as he emerged from his cocoon, and the final battle began.

  • Hakuji met Keizo and Koyuki, found a home at the Soryu Dojo, and promised to protect Koyuki after she confessed her love.
  • Hakuji returned from visiting his father's grave and discovered that a rival dojo had poisoned the well, killing Keizo and Koyuki; he slaughtered more than a hundred people in revenge.
  • Muzan turned Hakuji into a Demon and erased his memories, but Hakuji remembered his past and asked Kyojuro and Giyu to let him atone; they killed him as he reunited with Koyuki in his final vision.
  • Akaza and Kokushibo perished, while Yushiro defeated Nakime in their struggle for control and made the mass-produced Demons vanish from Infinity Castle.
  • Hiruma and Tanjiro entered Muzan's chamber and found him emerging early from his cocoon, aged by the poison; they confronted him and declared their intent to kill him.

Ch. 259Before Dawn

As the Infinity Castle collapsed, Hiruma, Tanjiro, and the assembled Demon Slayers cornered Muzan and fought to keep it from escaping until sunrise. With dawn approaching and the Corps watching through Yushiro’s paper eyes, Muzan’s defeat seemed inevitable, though its regeneration continued to accelerate.

  • After Nakime died, Yushiro, Iguro Obanai, and Mitsuri were pulled from the collapsing Infinity Castle into the district where Muzan fought.
  • Hiruma and Tanjiro combined their attacks, and Muzan unleashed Black Blood Thorns, leaving both swordsmen badly wounded while Tamayo’s medicine aged Muzan by four thousand years.
  • Muzan resumed fighting, and Giyu, Sanemi, Kanae, Shinobu, Makomo, Iguro Obanai, Mitsuri, and Inosuke joined the battle to hold it in place until sunrise.
  • Zenitsu and Hiruma helped decapitate Muzan, while Kanao treated Tanjiro and he returned to the fight.
  • As the horizon began to pale, Muzan kept regenerating after repeated decapitations while Yushiro’s paper eyes let the Corps and their allies watch the final battle.
