Flowing Away

The blare of a massive cruise ship docking spread outward from the pier.

Besides the cruise ship Pei Yuyuan had taken, two other large vessels were slowly pulling in as well.

The dockside was already packed with staff responsible for guiding and directing the arrivals.

Beyond them, outside the barricades, were family members who had long been waiting to pick up passengers, along with others connected to them.

Pei Yuyuan held Song Yu's hand and followed behind Kong Yaohui, inching down the gangplank step by step with one hand on the railing.

There were simply too many people. Everyone wanted to get off the ship a little earlier, so they shoved and squeezed against one another on the gangplank, moving only a few steps a minute.
