As the nearest high-resource Level 40 to Level 50 map to Star-Moon Royal City, Shadowblade Ruins saw a large number of players entering every day. However, the players currently leveling in this map had all fallen into panic.
This was because player teams throughout the map were suddenly being attacked by large groups of powerful monsters. Among these monsters were highly intelligent humanoid, one-horned creatures whose combat standards were even considerably higher than those of some elite players. Relying on their high attributes, they charged into crowds like wolves among sheep. Every attack bypassed players' defenses and struck directly at vital points. Even healers could not keep up before people were killed.
Only the expert players leading the teams could barely keep them occupied.
"Commander, our Teleport Scrolls can't be used!" a Level 40 Swordsman clad in light-blue armor reported anxiously.
"How is that possible? Didn't one of our members use a Teleport Scroll to escape danger an hour ago?" The burly Level 41 Shield Warrior resisting the humanoid one-horned monster frowned as he watched more and more monsters approach.
Shadowblade Ruins was still quite dangerous for current players. Therefore, when exploring the map, every team prepared some Zero-Order Teleport Scrolls in advance in case they encountered traps or were surrounded by monsters.
Now, their hundred-man team was surrounded by several hundred monsters.
