Along a path shrouded by dense woods in Silent Canyon, Fei Xin led a large group of Black Cloud Legion members in a mad dash, completely disregarding their stamina. Even when suddenly attacked by monsters, they only put up the bare minimum of resistance and refused to get bogged down in battle.

For no other reason than the fact that the scheduled assault time had already passed by five minutes. That meant Xuanyuan Sansha on the other route was very likely already heading their way.
Although they had broken through Desert Mad Tiger's blockade and ridden their mounts at full speed afterward, several guarded checkpoints still lay along the way. This might be quite advantageous for breakout teams with more members, since it reduced the number of times they needed to break through and saved more time, but things were different for them.
In order to break through Desert Mad Tiger's initial checkpoint, they had sacrificed more than four hundred people. Their team now had fewer than six hundred members left.
