The cemetery, as large as a small high-rise building, stood near the center of the forest. Simply approaching it was extremely difficult, and the undead there were several times more densely packed than at the forest's outskirts. Even a lone Tier 2 player had no way of getting close, much less charging into the cemetery.
Facing several hundred Lord-ranked undead rushing straight at him, even Shi Feng felt his scalp tingle.
Fortunately, twenty-one Abyssal Phantoms stood in their way. Since they possessed greater strength than the Lord-ranked undead, they could barely keep the creatures from approaching. However, the Abyssal Phantoms had limited durations and could not hold back this endless horde of undead for long.
If he failed to prevent the undead from closing in, Shi Feng was confident that he could escape alive under their attacks, but he would forget about accomplishing anything else. He would only be left scrambling to deal with their assaults.
It could be said that the key to obtaining the legacy was making the most of the Abyssal Phantoms' duration.
"Forty-two seconds to reach the cemetery. That's about what I estimated." Shi Feng glanced at the Abyssal Phantoms' remaining duration and sighed in relief. "The remaining eighteen seconds should be enough to open the cemetery."
The reason he had not chosen the majestic temple at the very center of the forest, aside from the Tier 4 Heroic Spirit guarding it, was that he simply did not have enough time. The second-tier cemetery was already the limit of what he could reach.
Yet before Shi Feng could even catch his breath inside the cemetery, the Heroic Spirit standing quietly before the gravestone opened its eyes. Clad in silver armor and wielding a flaming warblade, it instantly enveloped the entire cemetery in a faint red domain.
