Wiseman's arrival made all the players breathe a sigh of relief.

The Mechanical Slayer was simply too powerful. Even with so many guards rushing over to surround and suppress it, more than fifty thousand players had died, and several streets in White River City had been destroyed.

If the Mechanical Slayer had been given more time, it would likely have slaughtered every player in White River City and completely reduced the entire city to ruins.

A mere Level 50 aberrant High Lord had already caused such immense damage to a major city like White River City. If dozens of powerful monsters appeared, wouldn't White River City be finished?

At that thought, everyone was filled with complicated emotions.

However, only Shi Feng understood the true strength of aberrations. How could an ordinary High Lord possibly be so powerful?

The appearance of an aberration could absolutely be considered a natural disaster.

"I wonder which is stronger, a Grand Magician or an aberration?" Shi Feng stood quietly in the distance, watching Wiseman and the Mechanical Slayer's every move.

A Grand Magician was a Tier 4 class, a major powerhouse throughout the entire Star-Moon Kingdom. Only a major city like White River City would have such an expert stationed there. Smaller cities would never have Tier 4 powerhouses; they would only be guarded by Tier 3 NPCs.

The Mechanical Slayer was no less extraordinary. It was an aberration formed from a mutated High Lord. If one had to judge its tier, Shi Feng initially estimated that it was at least Tier 3. Otherwise, the Tier 2 guard captain would not have been defeated so easily.

At this moment, the Level 200 Wiseman and the Level 50 Mechanical Slayer faced each other from less than thirty yards apart.

The gap between their levels was enormous.
