Qiluo watched his companions turn to ashes, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly. This large-scale destructive magic had come far too suddenly.
Obviously, Shi Feng had already targeted the area when he approached them. Asking that question had merely been bait to draw them together, then wipe them all out in one go.
The attack had come so abruptly that they had had no time to dodge.
If he had not been near the edge of the attack range and activated Gale Step, using its brief invincibility to charge out of the flames, he would likely have ended up just like the others.
"Captain, what do we do?" a Level 37 Elementalist asked quietly.
"We retreat!" Qiluo said through gritted teeth. Though he was deeply unwilling, the man before them had killed both Mo Feimo and Thunder War Tiger. With only five of them left, they stood no chance.
They had previously had eighteen people, enough manpower to activate a magic array and suppress their opponent. But that was no longer possible. If they kept fighting, the only outcome would be total annihilation.
"Trying to leave? It won't be that easy."
Shi Feng watched as Qiluo and the others slowly began to back away, a faint smile rising on his lips. He rushed toward the nearest Level 37 Elementalist.
Those people had already used their lifesaving skills while trying to escape Flame Spirit Storm. Escaping again would not be so easy.
"Don't hold back against him. I'll keep him occupied—ranged units, focus on support." Seeing Shi Feng move as swiftly as a gale, Qiluo hurriedly activated a burst skill, raising his attributes considerably. With a Shadow Step, he appeared behind Shi Feng, his black dagger like a sharp fang biting toward Shi Feng's heart.
