Everyone, Charge with Me

The gloomy interior.

Uchiha Setsuna stood under Uchiha Rai's protection.

He looked at the few uninvited guests before him.

Without a trace of politeness, he snapped, "Koh and Kagami, are you here to laugh at me?"

Hearing Uchiha Setsuna's blunt question,

Kagami Uchiha didn't take it to heart.

He glanced

at his longtime political rival.

Between his brows, he could see

traces of frustration and fear that had yet to fade.

He didn't waste words,

and immediately explained in detail how his conversation with that brat, Uchiha Genmei, had fallen apart a few days ago.

"So that's how it is. Such a correct, yet terrifying, way of thinking."

He stroked his chin, staring at his old rival with interest.

Then he continued:

"Perhaps it doesn't align with the Will of Fire the Second Hokage taught you?"

Seeing that Kagami Uchiha still wanted to say more, he waved a hand and cut him off.

"Let me make this clear first: I'm preparing to surrender to that brat. His eyes have already reached Lord Madara's level."

That was a lie!

He had clearly planned

to fight that brat to the death at the clan meeting.

But the two men before him had given him a glimmer of hope,

so he wanted to test them

and secure some benefits for himself.

Hearing Uchiha Setsuna's words, Uchiha Koh, who had been silent for a long time, cried out in surprise:

"How is that possible?! Setsuna, you couldn't have mistaken what you saw, could you? That brat is only fifteen!"

"Hmph! Koh, do you think I'm going blind? If it weren't for those eyes..."

Hearing Uchiha Setsuna's words,

which sounded like a surrender,

Kagami Uchiha sneered. "Don't be afraid. I have a way."

"What can you possibly do against those eyes?" Uchiha Setsuna scoffed, preparing to see them out.

Buzz!

Kagami Uchiha opened his blood-red, uncanny eyes, intricate patterns blooming in his pupils.

He said gravely, "I'll rely on my Mangekyō technique!"

Thinking of Kagami Uchiha's Mangekyō technique,

Uchiha Setsuna's steps grew lighter. Before long, he entered the shrine.

He took his seat and looked around.

Koh and Kagami were both there.

Seeing a young Uchiha sitting beside Kagami, he silently thought, "So that's Baru. He's back from his mission."

He glanced at Uchiha Rai beside him, and felt a little more at ease.

Had that brat still not arrived?

Thinking of those terrifying eyes, he couldn't help shivering.

He hoped the plan would go smoothly.

A short while later,

Uchiha Genmei entered the shrine, his spirits high, followed by his subordinates.

He took his seat calmly.

Uchiha Koh cleared his throat. "Ahem... At this clan meeting, I'm glad to see everyone looking well."

"I'm greatly heartened. I have an important decision to announce to everyone here."

Uchiha Setsuna and Kagami Uchiha nodded.

They exchanged a glance and watched Uchiha Koh. The moment they got the signal, they would turn on that brat.

"I've decided to pass the position of clan leader to Yuan Ming. He'll lead everyone into a new era!"

When Uchiha Koh's words fell,

Setsuna and Kagami stared at him in disbelief.

"Koh, what the hell are you talking about?"

"Have you gone mad? This doesn't match our plan at all. Or could it be..."

Looking at their grim faces,

Uchiha Genmei slowly stood and stepped forward into the middle of the room.

His expression was haughty. "Didn't you hear, old men? Lord Koh is passing the clan leadership to me. What are you confused about?"

He sneered inwardly. Koh's mind had already been twisted by Yachihoko. Their plan had long since fallen apart!

"You damn brat! I'll kill you! Kagami, attack him now—"

Before the ferocious-looking Setsuna could finish, a massive golden Divine Sword pierced through his body.

Looking at the enormous, bloodthirsty arm that had appeared beside that detestable brat, and the sharp sword accompanying it,

"Susanoo... Genmei... you damn... brat..." gravely wounded, Uchiha Setsuna

struggled to speak, then slowly formed Hand Seals. His figure vanished like a phantom.

Beside him, Kagami Uchiha finally recovered from the shock of Uchiha Genmei's unexpected move.

He roared:

"Everyone, charge with me!"

Uchiha Baru, standing nearby, didn't know what to do. Hearing Kagami's shout, he remembered that Lord Koh's plan hadn't gone like this.

The position of clan leader should have gone to him after the lord stepped down.

It was a genjutsu! It had to be!

He immediately activated his Mangekyō Sharingan alongside Uchiha Rai and charged at Uchiha Genmei.

Watching dozens of elite jōnin spring up around him

and charge to kill him,

Genmei's lips curled slightly.

He thought, Come on!

A gigantic blue barrier enveloped the entire area with blinding speed!

Terrifying distortions of space and time swallowed everything.

With a crash!

In the sky,

Uchiha Rai and Baru watched as the two men plummeted into the massive building below.

They cried out in shock, "Where are we?"

Nearby in the air, Kagami and Setsuna shouted in astonishment, "Damn it! That's the clan's base in the Land of Fire!"

"How did he do that?!"

"Damn it!!!"

At another location,

dozens of Uchiha elite jōnin stared blankly at their surroundings.

"Where are we?"

"What's going on? That huge complex nearby looks like our base in the Land of Fire."

"Lord Setsuna and Lord Kagami are in danger!"

"Damn it! That was Maru-Maru's Immortal Treasure. I'd recognize that chakra anywhere. Have those greedy Ninja Cats defected to Genmei?!"

Uchiha Hikari, Naka, and Uchiha Genmei's subordinates stood nearby.

They watched the chaotic scene.

Uchiha Yuta sighed and looked at the silent girl whose Mangekyō had lit up.

He didn't know what to call her.

Ancestress?

But she was still a young girl. What a headache.

He hesitated, then advised her, "Lady Hikari, to avoid unnecessary casualties, you should use your Mangekyō technique."

At his words, Uchiha Hikari took a step forward.

Her pupils trembled, scarlet and spinning.

Her terrifying ocular power pressed down on the world!

The pupils of every Uchiha elite jōnin present, their three-tomoe Sharingan, glowed blue around the edges.

They all fell silent.

Seeing that everyone was under control,

Yuta and Jing both let out a sigh of relief.

They looked toward Uchiha Naka, who seemed bored.

They tried to reassure her. "Lord Naka, and Lady Hikari, too."

"You don't need to worry about Lord Genmei. Lord Jing is over there as well. He'll have no trouble taking those people down."

Uchiha Naka said nothing, only glancing at the girl

who had puffed out her cheeks in displeasure after hearing that.

She sighed inwardly.

He had been in the shrine, watching the Uchiha clan descend toward civil war because of his covert meddling.

Looking at the Uchiha being controlled by that terrifying girl, he was shaken.

It was already on par with Uchiha Madara's!

Just who was that girl? The Uchiha had always been under his surveillance!

And then there was their leader...

He'd go take a look. He could deal with the girl later; he needed to figure out what was happening over there.

With that thought,

the strange figure, half black and half white,

made his way toward the huge complex.

He slipped inside!
