Faced with those words that cut to the heart,
the blood-red defilement sneered:
"Well... say whatever you like. I didn't come just to undo your seal."
Its body trembled as it spoke in a chilly tone:
"You must have sensed it, haven't you? The descendant of the Outer-Heaven Demon who bears the aura of Takamagahara's ruler is about to approach this land."
Moryo paid no attention. The enormous black demon roared furiously:
"Enough nonsense! The greatest descendant of the Outer-Heaven Demon is still holed up in the Pure Land... What exactly are you planning?"
"Moryo, let's join forces. We'll eat that guy together!"
After hearing this, Moryo took it as a provocation. Its hundred-odd heads opened their gaping maws.
"Who would join forces with you? I'm going to reclaim the sublime power of my other half. Then I'll be invincible!"
With a thunderous crash,
this pocket dimension collapsed completely.
The enormous demon began to wreak havoc upon the world!
In the forest, beneath the sun's last rays.
Uchiha Genmei and the others were all elites.
Their pace went without saying. In just a few days, they had crossed several small countries from the Land of Fire.
They had reached the territory of the Land of Demons.
"Genmei, the capital of the Land of Demons is about half an hour's walk from here."
Orochimaru's voice was deep and hoarse.
Uchiha Genmei nodded.
"Orochimaru, just say what's on your mind. You know what these kinds of missions outside the village are like..."
"As someone in the Police Force, I have less experience than you."
Orochimaru's expression was serious:
"The forest, the land, and the mountains have all been far too quiet along the dozens of miles we've raced through."
Tsunade quietly picked up the thought:
"It's as if every living thing has fallen silent..."
They looked at one another, knowing this was no simple matter.
"Everyone, pick up the pace. I'll go ahead. If something happens to our client, it'll be harder for Konoha to get missions in the future."
With that,
Uchiha Genmei,
was enveloped in armor. His back jolted.
He spread his wings and flew away.
Meanwhile,
on the walls of the capital of the Land of Demons.
The beautiful Shrine Maiden and the soldiers
looked out at the tens of thousands of stone puppets surrounding the entire city.
They stood across the land, some carrying swords, others bows, their eyes glowing eerily as they encircled the city.
And behind them, lurking in the darkness, was a demon as vast as a hill.
Her expression darkened:
"So this is Moryo and its Undead Army?"
This was absurd!
The Shrine Maidens' generations of lore had spoken of its terror.
But!
She had never before faced such an oppressive presence, as if the apocalypse were bearing down upon her.
Its reality was beyond compare.
It sent chills down her spine!
"My lady, they're about to attack!"
The eerie eyes of the Undead Army glimmered with cold light as they launched their assault.
The retainer standing beside the Shrine Maiden cried out in alarm.
The retainer's disgraceful display made the Shrine Maiden lower her eyes.
She raised the ancient great bow in her hands
and asked in a low voice:
"Have the rites for the Spirit Bow been completed?"
The retainer lowered his head. His words reached the Shrine Maiden, their emotion impossible to discern.
"We've already sacrificed a thousand elderly people..."
Hearing this, she needed no more words. Her lips moved.
The incantation of Onmyodo resounded through heaven and earth!
"Shine bright and brilliant, cast your radiant light!"
"Moon Bow Secret Incantation, cleanse the defilement from your body!"
A beam of rainbow light flew from the shrine within the city.
It gathered in the Shrine Maiden's hand, forming a sacred arrow.
The Shrine Maiden, whose presence brooked no violation,
drew her bow and nocked the arrow.
"Sin and defilement, be gone!"
The sacred arrow, trailing moonlight, pierced the sky and illuminated the heavens!
Its invincible force warped the world!
In the darkness, thousands of Undead Puppets were touched by its light.
They melted like snow in spring, vanishing without a trace.
The arrow, bearing the Holy Light of Judgment, struck Moryo, lurking at the rear, in an instant.
Boom!
The blue-white holy light turned the world upside down
where it struck!
"Did it work?"
The retainer came back to his senses after witnessing that power and asked the Shrine Maiden beside him.
The Shrine Maiden shook her head, her face solemn.
She explained:
"My attack with the Spirit Bow can only hold them back for a moment."
She bit her lip and continued:
"After all, you know my power and Moryo's are one. How could it be killed by its own power?"
In the instant the Shrine Maiden was explaining this to the retainer,
disaster struck!
Splurt—
Huh?
What was happening?
What was this?!
The Shrine Maiden stared at the blood-red tentacle that had pierced her abdomen.
She lifted a hand to cover her mouth.
"Ugh... Is... this... my end?"
Blood welled up from her mouth, making it incredibly difficult for her to speak.
Ah~
She remembered now.
This was how she had died in that vision of the future...
Was she really going to die?!
"What is that?!"
"My lord!"
"Lady Shrine Maiden!"
The retainers and soldiers nearby were horrified by the sudden turn of events.
They came to their senses and rushed to save their lord.
The blood-red tentacles holding the Shrine Maiden in place
opened countless eyes!
A flash of red light passed, and the retainers and soldiers collapsed, their eyes rolled back.
"Ha ha ha ha ha!"
"My other half, you didn't expect this, did you? I cleverly concealed myself from your Yin-Yang eyes."
As it spoke, it extended a branch of tentacle
and licked the Shrine Maiden's beautiful face.
More branches sprouted, binding her tightly.
Looking at the Shrine Maiden, who was vomiting blood and unable to move,
it sneered:
"Give me back my power!"
The tentacles quivered. A blue-white light rose around the Shrine Maiden and was slowly absorbed by it.
"Power! Power! My sublime power has returned!"
It writhed with excitement, worked into a frenzy.
The Shrine Maiden watched all this with trembling eyes.
Helplessly, she raised her right hand, trying to grasp at something.
"Guh..."
She wanted to say something, but only a feeble groan escaped her lips.
Suddenly,
out of the corner of her eye, she caught a flash of golden light coming from the east.
She curled her lips and said to Moryo, clinging to her:
"Your... time... to die... has come..."
Moryo, convinced its scheme had succeeded, was utterly arrogant.
Hearing this, it sneered:
"Empty threats. Who could kill me now? Who would dare?"
"I can kill you!"
A high, clear voice rang out from the sky.
The air began to howl.
The faint currents of wind in the sky turned into a massive typhoon in moments!
Was it wind?
No!
It was an immense golden-red blaze, unleashing surging waves of heat,
churning the clouds!
Golden-red flames fell from the sky.
It was divine punishment!
A colossal pillar of fire illuminated the world, sweeping away every demon and specter!
The blood-red tentacles around the Shrine Maiden were struck first.
The erupting flames swept around her, yet did not harm her at all.
The tentacles, however, were burned away completely.
A figure descended and caught the falling beauty.
He surveyed the many Undead Puppets still around and grew impatient.
His scarlet eyes flickered slightly:
"Let the undying sun fall, unleash flames that incinerate all things, and annihilate demons and fiends!"
[Eye Technique: Amaterasu] activated.
The golden-red fire swirled across the heavens, spreading toward the sky beyond the city, its pace at once swift and slow.
He snapped his fingers lightly.
"Die in peace, you scum!"
Meteoric flames rained down from the golden-red sky,
and the Undead Army on the ground, faced with this Sun Fire,
was powerless to escape its fate, perishing utterly in the sea of flames!
The figure who had swept away everything stood beneath the light of the flames.
A handsome face emerged,
and it was Uchiha Genmei.
He laid down the Shrine Maiden, who had closed eyes and no breath.
He said with some helplessness,
"This is my first mission from a ninja village. I can't let the client actually die."
The Eternal Mangekyo glared.
A glow of revival enveloped her.
The healing light burst forth, crossing ravines, peach groves, and valleys before reaching the mountaintop.
The Shrine Maiden whimpered and slowly opened her eyes.
She gazed at the sky, whose hue was like the first light of dawn.
She murmured,
"Had I not already seen the Sanzu River? Why, upon opening my eyes again, do I see such a sight?"
A hand waved in front of her.
"I was the one who saved you."
Beneath the golden-red sky, the young man's figure shone brilliantly.
Unable to help herself, she squeezed her crossed thighs together,
and marveled inwardly,
So handsome!
