After hesitating for a moment, Franz walked over to the hanging map and lightly tapped it twice.
"If Bru is willing, he can go to Veracruz as mayor. Consider it a test for him.
If he does well, we can increase our support later; if his performance falls short, then we'll give up on him."
No matter what, he still had to give his younger brother some face. After living together for decades, Franz had long accepted everything left behind by the original owner of this body.
Maximilian was overly idealistic, but that did not prevent him from being a good younger brother. Even when he blindly stirred things up, he only stirred up trouble in Mexico and never caused problems at home.
