Ice Sword, trailing a chill, swiftly caught up to Lu Lu. He slashed out with his sword, forcing Lu Lu to stop and defend herself. Several nearby gods also closed in, surrounding Lu Lu at the center.
Blood stained the corner of Lu Lu's mouth, and her face had turned pale. She might not even be able to escape now. Her only choices were to submit to the Ice God Alliance or die at the Ice God Alliance's hands.
On the ground, Ice God Alliance soldiers pursued and slaughtered the armies of the gods like a rising tide. The Ice God Alliance had already won. Next, they would swallow one region and city after another. Everyone in the Ice God Alliance wore smiles.
With a domineering smile, Ice Sword looked at the surrounded Lu Lu. "I told you that you couldn't escape. You're quite beautiful. How about becoming one of my divine attendants? I won't treat you poorly."
Anger surfaced on Lu Lu's face. She was a lofty god—how could she possibly serve Ice Sword as a maid?
But if she refused him, she had no way of escaping the encirclement of several gods and would ultimately only die here. That made her hesitate, because she did not want to die here like this either.

Suddenly, shouts of battle rang out. An army burst from one side with immense momentum, surging forward like a tidal wave—fierce and unstoppable, as though it would destroy everything in its path.
