Dragon Land.
Within a massive cavern glittering in every color, rows upon rows of stone steps had been carved out. Countless members of the dragon clans sat upon them. Some wore smiles, some were excited, and some remained calm. The surroundings were lively and filled with clamorous voices.
At the center of the great cavern lay an open stretch of ground, upon which an enormous, majestic Dragon Ancestor was imprinted. It looked alive, inspiring awe in all who saw it. There was no ceiling above; it was an open-air cavern.
This was the birthplace of the Ancient Dragon Ancestor.
The Ancient Dragon Ancestor was the first Ancient Dragon born within the Chaos World. Its power had awed the ages, striking fear into both humans and gods. Its body possessed eleven attributes: metal, wood, water, fire, earth, wind, lightning, ice, divine, demonic, and heavenly. These later divided into the present eleven lineages of the Ancient Dragon Clan.
Becoming the Young Lord of the Ancient Dragon Clan allowed one to directly obtain the inheritance power of the Ancient Dragon Ancestor. This inheritance contained all eleven attributes and was vastly more powerful than a single attribute, for it was the power of the Dragon Ancestor itself.
Rumor had it that the Ancient Dragon Ancestor had followed members of the Origin Clan out of the Chaos World. No one knew where it had gone. It might have gone to the Immortal Realm, or perhaps to Return to Ruin.
The Ancestral Dragon Cave was normally a Forbidden Land and would open only during the selection of the Ancient Dragon Clan's Young Lord.
