Ri Ying and the other women had already gathered together, unleashing all manner of power to form a massive defensive barrier that held back the rampaging lightning.
Ximen Nightingale asked, "What do we do now? We won't be able to hold out for long."
Yao looked at Zhao Fu and said, "All we can do now is wait for him to regain control of his body. We can't escape at a time like this either."
The women all wore grim expressions.
Zhao Fu had now lost control of his body. Two terrifying forces collided within Zhao Fu's soul like two surging tides.
Zhao Fu's consciousness could only helplessly watch the scene before him. Even he did not know what to do now.
The main issue was how Zhao Fu should choose.
Should he choose Apocalypse World?
Or should he choose Chaos World?
Watching the two forces continuously crash against each other, Zhao Fu steeled his heart. I want them both!
However, fusing these two powers together would be an extremely difficult task. Even so, Zhao Fu intended to give it a try. If it failed, he could only abandon everything in Chaos World.
Zhao Fu would not abandon everything in Apocalypse World because of Chaos World. Having made his decision, Zhao Fu immediately began to act.
Zhao Fu's consciousness sank into the two powers, sensing their changes as he formed a tiny vortex that drew both currents of power into it.
This small vortex was incredibly fragile, as though it could be swallowed by the two tides of power at any moment. Zhao Fu did everything he could to maintain it, while also enduring the impact of both forces.
Crackle, crackle...
