Volume One, Chapter Twelve
So many cards had been affected by the power of the Chaos Star, forcibly transformed into cards. They had also gained an additional attribute: the chaos attribute.
The chaos attribute was a fusion of the powers of Card World and Chaos World. Yet chaos power ultimately came from outside, so the people of Card World rejected this attribute, while the chaos attribute likewise rejected Card World.
The two stood in an antagonistic relationship. This time, it was not only the flowers, grass, birds, and beasts that had been affected; countless people had been affected as well, though they had not been transformed into cards.
Chaos World could be said to have invisibly planted a pawn within Card World that endangered Card World. The areas most severely eroded by the land of chaos were called Chaos Lands.
Card World returned to calm. Countless powerful figures gazed toward the horizon with lingering fear. They were considered the second world to be heavily affected. Although Apocalypse World was closest to Chaos World, it had suffered the least impact.
The reason might have had something to do with Zhao Fu. Half of Zhao Fu still belonged to Apocalypse World.
People from the major factions gathered together and began discussing the matter, because Chaos World had posed an enormous threat to Card World. Those who had come were all of exceedingly noble status.
At a long table, a beautiful blond woman said, "I think you all know about this matter. Chaos World's Chaos Star has descended, and our Card World must now face its greatest enemy."
A sinister young man said, "If we had known his identity earlier, we should have killed him by any means necessary. Now that he is protected by the Chaos Supreme Star, that is nearly impossible."
