Volume One, Chapter Twenty-Four
Countless terrified people in the city took out their treasures and piled them on the ground.
These dragons were infamous, constantly pillaging everywhere. Many cities had suffered at their hands, though they rarely massacred entire cities. Usually, they merely frightened them.
The Red Dragon looked at the various treasures on the ground, his eyes gleaming with greed as he laughed. "Big Brother, we came to the right city this time. We actually snatched so many things."
The Green Dragon smiled. "That's thanks to Third Brother. He gave us the information."
Third Brother was a Blue Dragon. He smiled and said, "I only found out by accident. We were lucky this time."
The last dragon was a White Dragon. He said with a chuckle, "Let's hope we have even better luck in the future. We can rob a few more cities and offer more tribute to Dragon Mother."
The Blue Dragon said, "Dragon Mother's birthday is coming soon. We need to give her a surprise."
Clang! Clang! Clang...
The sound of chains rang out as four iron chains shot up from the ground, streaking toward the sky at incredible speed. Before the four dragons could react, chains had already wrapped around their necks.
The four dragons were shocked and hurriedly flew to one side, trying to break free. However, the chains bound them tightly. No matter how they flew, they could not escape.
The dragons turned their heads and saw a cloaked figure standing on the ground. Four chains were held in his hands—the very chains binding their necks.
Countless people in the city stared in astonishment. They had never expected someone to so easily bind those dragons.
The Green Dragon let out a roar. "Who are you? Release us immediately, or we'll tear you apart!"
