Volume One, Chapter Forty-Five
Huo Meimu arrived in the territory Huo Baiwu had granted to Huo Bai Niao. Hearing that Huo Bai Niao was inspecting the area, Huo Meimu set off in the direction others had pointed out.
At that moment, Huo Meimu heard some sounds. A strange expression appeared on her face as she followed them, only to witness an unbearable scene.
That man looked so ordinary, and his strength was so weak. How could her younger sister be fooling around with such a man? If word got out, it would be a disgrace to the Flame Kingdom.
Fuming, Huo Meimu strode over.
Seeing her elder sister approach, Huo Bai Niao showed no shame at all. She wrapped her arms around Zhao Fu and said with a light laugh, "Sister, why are you here?"
Huo Meimu grew even angrier. "How could you do such a thing? How can you face Father and Mother? How can you face the husband who trusts you? Do you still remember that you are the noble Second Princess of the Flame Kingdom?"
Huo Bai Niao glanced at Zhao Fu and laughed softly. "Sister! Why don't you come over and give it a try? I guarantee it'll surpass your imagination."
Flushed with shame and fury, Huo Meimu said, "Come back with me at once. I am reporting this matter to Father and Mother."
Huo Bai Niao smiled. "What if I refuse?"
Huo Meimu said coldly, "Then I can only take you and this wild man back. But he will die a miserable death!"
Looking at Zhao Fu, Huo Bai Niao said with a smile, "Did you hear that? Look what she plans to do to us. So, I'll leave my sister to you."
Zhao Fu smiled. "She is your sister. Is that really all right?"
