After examining her, Zhao Fu discovered that this poison was extremely peculiar—there yet not there. To call it poisoning seemed wrong, yet if she was not poisoned, Huo Dongmei's life force was steadily draining away.
"How is it?" Huo Meimu asked anxiously.
"This poison is troublesome," Zhao Fu answered. "I need to try something first."
Huo Meimu gave a soft hum and continued waiting obediently, not daring to disturb Zhao Fu. Huo Bai Niao watched Huo Dongmei with a worried expression.
Zhao Fu pressed one hand against Huo Dongmei's chest, pouring an immense force into her body. With the aid of that powerful force, the poison gradually seeped out of Huo Dongmei's body, while the surrounding void warped and blurred.
Huo Dongmei's complexion gradually improved.
Seeing this, Huo Meimu and Huo Bai Niao were overjoyed. Zhao Fu was capable of clearing away the poison, which meant their mother would not have to die.

"Mother!" Huo Meimu and Huo Bai Niao cried out in alarm.
Zhao Fu frowned. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Although the poison greatly fears my power, I cannot eliminate it. But I have another method that should be able to save her."
"What method?" Huo Bai Niao asked.
"No matter what it is, as long as it can save our mother, we agree," Huo Meimu said.
