Huo Bai Niao wrapped her arms around Zhao Fu's arm and said, "Husband, you're the one who saved my mother. I believe you can save my father this time too."
Tears welled in Huo Dongmei's eyes as she looked at Zhao Fu. "Please... I don't want him to die."
Looking at Huo Dongmei, Zhao Fu understood that she still loved Huo Baiwu, which was why she was so anxious and heartbroken. Zhao Fu thought that if Huo Baiwu died, Li Baiqing would benefit the most. He was first in line to inherit the throne, and quite a few ministers supported him.
Huo Baiwu could not die now. Zhao Fu nodded and agreed to save him.
When Huo Qing'er learned the news, she ran crying to the royal palace. Her father and mother had always doted on her, and this incident left her devastated.

Su Yan said, "We can't kill her yet. She's the Second Princess, after all.
