Volume One, Chapter 56
Zhao Fu continued injecting the power of his bloodline into Huo Baiwu's body, thoroughly clearing away the toxins within him.
Zhao Fu withdrew his hand and looked at the two clouds of poison floating in the air. With a casual wave, he cut open Huo Baiwu's brow. Under Zhao Fu's control, a mass of blood floated out and drifted into one of his hands.
A stream of power entered the blood mass, which gave off a suction force and drew the two clouds of poison into itself.
Zhao Fu could not yet control these two poisons, so he could only use Huo Baiwu's blood to gather them together. As the poisoned person, Huo Baiwu's blood had such an effect.
After the two poisons fused into it, a tri-colored sphere appeared, its material resembling stone. It was half the size of an egg.
Zhao Fu let out a breath of relief and put the sphere away.
Huo Dongmei walked over with a smile. "Is it done?"
Zhao Fu smiled. "There's still one final step!"
Huo Dongmei blushed. "Do we really have to do that?"
Huo Meimu also blushed. "That doesn't seem right, does it? And Father is a man—your method probably won't work on him."
Huo Qing'er looked at the two of them in confusion.
Putting on a solemn expression, Zhao Fu said, "Then I'm leaving. If anything else happens, don't blame me, and don't come looking for me either."
Huo Dongmei hurriedly called out to stop Zhao Fu. "Don't!"
Looking at Huo Bai Niao before him, Li Baiqing asked, "Why did you bring me here?"
Huo Bai Niao said, "Nothing."
Li Baiqing said somewhat angrily, "If there's nothing, I'm going back."
Huo Bai Niao immediately said, "Li Baiqing, I advise you to give up the throne.
