A few more hours passed. Ying Ya lay in Zhao Fu's arms, her eyes fixed on him. "You keep surprising me more and more."
Zhao Fu smiled. "My lady, I do too."
Ying Ya said with a smile, "Stay by my side and serve me from now on!"
Zhao Fu smiled. "Yes, I will continue working for you, my lady."
Ying Ya revealed a satisfied smile. "I want you to investigate Ying Fei again. She seems a little suspicious too."

Afterward, Shadow Woman nestled against Zhao Fu's chest and asked, "What was the good news you mentioned earlier?"
Zhao Fu smiled. "Ying Di is under my control now too, and Ying Ya is almost there. Only the top-ranked assassin remains—your clan chief. If I control her, I'll control the Shadowfish Clan, and you won't have to stay inside the painting anymore."
Shadow Woman said in surprise, "So soon?"

Shadow Woman also said with concern, "If it comes at the cost of our clan, I would rather remain inside the painting.
