Zhao Fu walked to the edge, gripped a chain with both hands, and pulled hard. He could barely make it budge. The chain was astonishingly heavy. He had no idea how long it was, but it definitely did not feel short.
This Dragon-Locking Well had only been discovered recently. He heard that several City Lords had personally come to inspect it, but they had found nothing and left.
Zhao Fu examined it carefully as well, but discovered nothing unusual. It was probably impossible for it to truly hold a dragon; otherwise, this place would be forbidden ground, rather than somewhere anyone could visit as they pleased.
