Over the next two days or so, Zhao Fu led his soldiers in continuously slaughtering goblins. At last, they gathered enough Ruins Tokens and brought in all the other soldiers who had remained outside.
During these days, Zhao Fu killed quite a few minotaurs. Of the Ancient Power he obtained, he gave most of it to the Archers and a small portion to the Shield Bearers, while the Infantry received none for the time being.
For now, Zhao Fu only used the Infantry to deal with basic goblins and coordinate offense and defense with the Shield Bearers. He did not need them to display much strength, so he temporarily did not give the Infantry any Ancient Power. Of course, if there was extra Ancient Power, he would certainly give it to the Infantry.
Now that the number of soldiers had reached over three hundred, Zhao Fu wanted to begin exploring the interior of the ruins. They had been exploring the outer areas these past days and had gained quite a few good things. Zhao Fu was also quite curious about the interior and wondered what it might contain.
Zhao Fu did not know how large these ruins were. Over the past two days or so, he had only briefly explored the outskirts and had not conducted a thorough search.
Not long after leading his soldiers onward, the sounds of battle suddenly rang out ahead.
Zhao Fu ordered the soldiers to stop and went ahead to investigate cautiously himself. Leaping onto a large tree, he discovered that over thirty goblins were hunting a cat demon.
The three types of creatures living within the ruins were not united; instead, they fought one another. Zhao Fu had seen it before—goblins and minotaurs would clash, while cat demons would also hunt goblins for food.
