Zhao Fu looked at the Orc corpses riddled with arrows and gave the order to pull them out. He then used spears and blades to inflict wounds that would clearly appear to have been made by Kobolds.

Of the three tribes, the Kobold village was undoubtedly the strongest, boasting four thousand members. Next was the Goblin village; although it had a population of five thousand, its combat effectiveness was significantly inferior. The weakest was the Elf Tribe, with just over three thousand members.

Since the Kobolds were the strongest, it was only natural to frame them first.

The plan was set in motion. Duo Ke led all the Kobolds under Zhao Fu's command, dragging the Orc corpses. They first made an appearance in the distance to the Orc tribe, then dropped a corpse at regular intervals, finally luring the Orcs toward the Kobold village in the west.

Inside the Orc tribe!

"This is bad! I saw a bunch of Kobolds dragging many of our Orc corpses back toward the west!"

Several Orcs who had been guarding the village entrance suddenly ran inside, shouting at the top of their lungs.

At first, some didn't believe that Kobolds would dare to attack them, but when the guards brought back the mangled, bloodied corpses, the entire tribe erupted in fury. Seeing the wounds on their kin, they could only imagine the agony they had suffered before death.

Countless Orcs rushed into the tribal hall, loudly demanding to lead a force to raze the Kobold village to the ground.

Inside the hall, an Orc standing just over two meters tall with a totem painted on his chest wore a look of pure rage. This was Otis, the leader of the Orc tribe. A dark premonition gnawed at him, for these corpses were the very Orcs his younger brother, Ao Ka, had taken out earlier.

Fearing that something had happened to Ao Ka, Otis gathered all the Orc warriors, leaving only a handful of guards behind, and rushed toward the west.

Watching the wretched, mangled corpses along the path, the Orcs suppressed their rage and quickened their pace toward the Kobold village.

On the other side, the Kobold village remained as peaceful as ever, with everyone going about their usual business.

Just then, the guards at the village entrance spotted a few unfamiliar Kobolds carrying something that looked like corpses toward a large tree three hundred meters away.

Seeing them acting so brazenly and openly, the guards assumed they were just new Kobolds spawned by the village and thought nothing of it. One guard called out, "What are you doing?"

Duo Ke, who was in the middle of hanging a corpse, didn't treat them like outsiders. He smiled as if speaking to old friends and replied, "Nothing much! Just hanging some things up here."

Duo Ke then abruptly changed the subject and shouted, "Our Kobold village is the strongest here! Be proud that we are Kobolds!"

The guards were initially confused by his words, but hearing the latter part, they couldn't help but beam with pride. After all, what race wouldn't be pleased to be praised?

The guards shouted back, "That's right! We Kobolds are the strongest! Orcs, Elves, Goblins—they're all trash! Sooner or later, our tribe will wipe them all out!"

By now, Duo Ke had finished hanging the Orc corpse. Hearing the guards, he raised his hand and cheered, "Then let us celebrate the rise of the Kobolds! We will surely become the strongest, ruling over all other races! Kobolds are supreme!"

Duo Ke was a former leader for a reason; he instantly whipped the crowd into a frenzy. The guards felt their blood boil and raised their hands, chanting along, "Kobolds are supreme!"

Mission accomplished, Duo Ke turned to look at the dim-witted guards and couldn't help but laugh. "The leader has ordered us to do something else, so we'll be heading off now!"

The guards shouted back enthusiastically, "Come back soon! We'll treat you to wild boar meat, brothers!"

Hearing the guards treat Duo Ke like a brother, the Kobolds following him stifled their laughter. They've been sold out by Duo Ke and don't even know it, yet they're still calling him brother and offering him boar meat.

A while after Duo Ke and his men departed, a breeze blew, carrying a distinct scent. One guard remarked, "Why does it smell like Orcs?"

The other guards caught the scent as well and turned their gazes forward. They had almost forgotten about the object they had initially ignored. Now, they couldn't help but walk over to inspect the mangled, bloody corpse. Their legs went weak with terror; they recognized this Orc. He was the second-in-command of the fearsome Orc tribe.

At that moment, Otis arrived with all his warriors. Though he had been praying his brother was safe, the sight of the corpse hanging from the tree shattered his composure. Otis let out a blood-curdling roar, "Kill them all!"

The Orcs' suppressed rage exploded in unison. Over four thousand warriors surged forward like a mountain torrent, their footsteps thundering against the earth, sending birds scattering into the sky as they flooded toward the Kobolds.

Caught off guard by the sudden Orc assault, the Kobolds scrambled to defend themselves. Spears were launched, but the Orcs, knowing they might face Kobold skirmishers, had already prepared simple wooden shields—or rather, blocks of wood—to hold in front of them.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The spears struck with immense force; some were blocked by the wooden shields, while others pierced straight through, killing the Orcs behind them.

But this only caused a few casualties and could not stop the Orcs. The charging Orcs were ferocious, swinging their giant axes and clubs with a momentum that threatened to crush everything in their path.

Soon, the two sides were locked in a brutal melee, and the Kobolds fought desperately against the Orc onslaught.

Zhao Fu watched the slaughter with cold eyes. Lives were extinguished in an instant, blood stained the ground, and the stench of death spread through the air.

"Load fire arrows!"

Zhao Fu issued the command, ordering his soldiers to fire from behind the Kobold village to set it ablaze while picking off the Kobolds.

Zhao Fu had to help the Orcs wipe out the Kobold village, but because the Orcs still needed to destroy the other two villages, he had to carefully control their casualties to ensure they maintained their combat strength.

Caught between the Orcs' fierce assault in the front and Zhao Fu's attacks from the rear, the Kobolds were quickly overwhelmed.

The Kobold leader, realizing they were being attacked by Orcs in the front and humans in the back, was livid. He assumed the Orcs had actually colluded with the despicable humans to destroy his village.

Watching his people fall one by one, the leader knew they were doomed. He retreated to the Village Hall, initiated the migration process, and handed the City Heart to a trusted subordinate. He gave him one hundred warriors and ordered him to take the remaining two hundred elderly and young Kobolds to escape, while he chose to stay behind and fight to the death to buy them time.
