This Corpse General and its corpse horse were surely extremely fast. Zhao Fu could hardly outrun the corpse horse on his own two legs, so he needed something to restrict its speed.
Zhao Fu tied up countless vines. If he could trip the Corpse General even once, he could buy himself plenty of time. At the same time, he set up several other traps.
Preparations complete!
Zhao Fu deliberately took a Corpse Soul Bow and stood far away. Drawing the bow, he fired an arrow. The arrow streaked through the air at tremendous speed, yet the Corpse General easily dodged it.
The Corpse General's scarlet eyes fixed on Zhao Fu, radiating savage intent. The next moment, it straddled its corpse horse and charged at Zhao Fu with incredible speed, like a black shadow.
Zhao Fu was startled. This corpse horse was far too fast! Without the slightest hesitation, Zhao Fu turned and ran.
In only a moment, Zhao Fu felt a massive, icy aura sweep over him from behind, filling him with fear. Gritting his teeth, Zhao Fu ran with all his strength. Ahead was the place where he had tied the vines.
After a frantic sprint, he finally entered the trap area. Zhao Fu did not slow down, but he turned his head to see how effective the traps were.
But Zhao Fu was disappointed. The Corpse General's eyes gleamed with intelligence. Unlike ordinary corpse soldiers that were like beasts, it possessed some wisdom.
It quickly spotted the traps, either slashing them apart with its blade or easily avoiding them.
Zhao Fu's heart jolted, and he sped up once more, racing away. But only a few minutes later, he felt a blade aura behind him, carrying a razor-sharp force as though it would split him in two.
