After Great Qin took control of forty regions, the eight hundred City Lords regrouped into four teams, each led by a great general, and continued their savage, rampant conquest in every direction. In the blink of an eye, the number of conquered regions reached sixty-two.
Things had actually become very dangerous by then. The news would soon spread, and countless City Lords would quickly gather. When that happened, Great Qin's City Lords would face the counterattack of innumerable City Lords.
The many City Lords of the eastern factions had not expected Great Qin to suddenly make its move, much less dispatch eight hundred City Lords at once—the equivalent of the City Lords from more than two hundred regions.
Although many City Lords reacted in time, with some even near the regions Great Qin had conquered and others being Great Qin's next targets, the strength of only a few of them was utterly incapable of stopping Great Qin's savage expansion.
They could only carry out a strategic retreat, but only the cities that were relatively far away could escape. As for the others, unless their City Lords directly relocated their cities without bringing their residents and soldiers, there would be no issue.
However, bringing along the soldiers and common people was completely impossible. Soldiers and civilians combined numbered four or five hundred thousand—how could they all be teleported away in such a short time?
Great Qin consisted entirely of high-end combat power, so its numbers were smaller, but it was far more nimble and swift. Often, just as those cities wanted to relocate, Great Qin had already arrived to kill; or before even half the residents had been teleported away, Great Qin would come again.
