All manner of anomalies appeared across the continent. Some looked like plants, some like living creatures, while others seemed to be neither fish nor fowl.
In the end, they formed an enormous food chain composed of anomalies.
In the deepest reaches of the ocean lay an incomparably massive egg, countless tentacles spreading from it and clinging to the cosmic barrier of the Infinite Universe Fragments.
This existence continually used its tentacles to prey upon the powerful anomalies born within the black water.
It grew bit by bit, already reaching one ten-thousandth the volume of the Blackwater Ocean.
Centered around this gigantic egg, a unique anomaly ecosystem had also been established.
Countless pustules grew along its tentacles, and within those pustules grew creature after creature that resembled both humanoids and fish.
There were also even larger creatures resembling octopuses.
From time to time, pustules burst open, and all kinds of anomalies crawled out.
They surrounded the gigantic egg, forming a well-ordered army.
Among them stood three deep and powerful figures before the egg of the god, reverent as subjects before their sovereign.
The three figures were entirely different from one another.
One had the upper body of a fish, while its lower half consisted of two scaled legs. Thick arms grew from either side, and it held a bone-white trident in its hands.
Another resembled an octopus, covered in densely packed tentacles. Yet atop its octopus head was half a torso of human-like flesh and blood.
The last possessed a standard human structure, save that its entire body was covered in scales. Six strange, scale-covered wings grew from its back, each suffused with a different power.
The winged anomaly possessed boundless wisdom in its eyes.
