Words in my heart, I want to say!!!!

There are some things from the heart I wish to share with everyone; I ask that you, fellow Daoists, read them through.

There will be an update at dawn; that is the last of my stockpiled chapters. Starting Monday, I must return to the life of writing and posting in real-time. It has been three weeks since the new book was released, and this is the fourth. Yet, the rankings are not high. On the member click charts and recommendation charts, I have been unable to break into the top three, always lingering behind. With only three weeks left in this month, Er Gen is anxious to see the rankings rise. I beg you, fellow Daoists, to lend Er Gen a helping hand!!

Log into your accounts; one click adds one member click. The vote you cast might just decide the position of Seeking Demon on the recommendation charts. A single click from your logged-in account can determine the ranking of Seeking Demon on the member charts!

Brothers, sisters, fellow Daoists!!! In these final three weeks, can you allow Er Gen to shine once, to not feel so stifled for once!!!

These three weeks have been incredibly stifling; that feeling is indescribable. I saw the clicks being deducted, but what could I say? Blisters have formed in my mouth, and a fire burns in my heart, but what can I say? I have only one thing to say: fellow Daoists, in the moment Er Gen needs you most, can you let me feel your warmth?

I want the rankings to be better; I want more people to see Seeking Demon. I have the confidence to write Seeking Demon well. I won't say it will surpass Renegade Immortal, but it will certainly not fall short of it.

I have confidence. In fact, the opening of Seeking Demon is far, far better than that of Renegade Immortal. After the three years of Renegade Immortal and its millions of words, have you not yet built up faith in Er Gen?

Do you not know, fellow Daoists, that what Er Gen excels at is not the opening, but making a book get better and better as it is written!!

Back then, the opening of Renegade Immortal was very poor, and its performance completely flopped. Did you not see how Er Gen worked diligently and painstakingly to bring a dead book back to life? That was a spirit of defiance! My defiance, Wang Lin's defiance, the defiance of all you fellow Daoists!

Now, in Seeking Demon, this spirit of defiance still exists within Er Gen. What is manifested is not defying the immortals, but Demon Burning!!

I am not reconciled. I am not reconciled to having such results during the new book period. Fellow Daoists, Rebel Cultivators, do you know how many people are watching us? Watching Er Gen, watching the joke that is Seeking Demon, watching Er Gen fall hard? Have you seen the rating scores? Before a single word of the main text was written, the score was maliciously dragged down to two-something.

What does this mean!!!

If I were writing poorly, I would not be this angry or stifled. But I have asked many people—I have asked so many people. I asked them how Seeking Demon is. I gave it to strangers, to acquaintances; many have read it, and the answer I received is that I have not written it wrong!

Perhaps the opening is not as good as others, but I have made no mistakes! I also have the certainty and full confidence that Seeking Demon will only get better!!

I am not reconciled!!! Now, in these final three weeks, Er Gen needs help. I need the Rebel Cultivators, I need the glory we shared back then to help me. I need you all!!!!

Where are you? Now, at this most critical moment, Er Gen bows to you and asks the gods for their aid!!!

I want to rise; I want to stand up! I do not want to be watched as a joke by those who are smug, I do not want the term "Rebel Cultivator" to be a mere flash in the pan from here on out, and I do not want those who maliciously manipulate the ratings to laugh wildly.

I will fight!! Even if the heavens mock me and I ultimately fail, I can still calmly and loudly say:

"This defeat is not the fault of the battle!"

I want to slaughter my way up the charts; can you help me!!!

For every chart—member clicks or recommendations—that reaches number one, Er Gen will provide four updates on Monday. My fight is absolutely not just empty words!!

If I can reach number one on both charts, even if I have to write until dawn, I will surely fulfill the heroic vow of six updates from years past!!

I am fighting!!

Let us draw our swords together; without staining them with blood, we swear never to turn back!!!
