Bang!
He Ping's strike sent a colossal explosive force and crushing pressure radiating from the falling Puppet Demon City, as though the entire abyss of the void had rippled at once.
The city now resembled a divine god holding a great imperial seal and stamping it fiercely onto an edict—except this great seal was formed from the entire Puppet Demon City itself. The Puppet Demon City was itself a supreme treasure that suppressed a sect; it had suddenly expanded to an immense size and begun spinning violently at high speed.
Bang!
Though the attack had yet to arrive, the air boomed as if a thunderclap had exploded within it, and countless miniature tornado vortices whirled through the violent currents.
Crackle! Pop!
Every vortex was formed from fragments and fault lines of space.
"Not good!"
What a proud and arrogant figure Venerable Subduing Dragon King was. Even with its experience, it knew this strike was terrifying beyond measure. The demonic city had expanded to its limit, towering without bound, like the vault of heaven collapsing and overturning down upon it. Even Mount Tai pressing down on one's head was insufficient to describe the momentum of such a ferocious move.
"Can't block it!"
"Can't clash with it either!"
The old dragon demon understood this with crystal clarity. This force was simply too tyrannical; if it tried to receive it head-on, there was an eighty to ninety percent chance it would suffer grievous injuries, perhaps even fall.
Even if it barely blocked it and was left with severely depleted vital energy, the Manifestation God expert disguised as He Ping would seize the chance to make a move. In other words, whether it chose to "clash" or to "block," both paths led to death.
The only chance of survival was to retreat.
That was
