The Three Great Rewards

After Hayato and Misaki had walked off into the distance, Shinku slowly came up behind Kurenai, his voice low.

"Was that your classmate just now?"

At the familiar voice, Kurenai first froze, then turned to look at Shinku.

"Mm-hmm, Dad." Kurenai nodded lightly, her eyes shining with approval and admiration for her desk mate. "That's Hayato. He sits next to me, and he's an excellent student."

A faint note of approval flickered in Shinku's eyes. Then he said calmly, "It's getting late. We should head home for dinner."

Kurenai obediently nodded and held Shinku's large hand tightly in her small one. They smiled at each other and set off for home together.

"Dad, you know, there are lots of interesting people in my class. Every one of them has their own story and dreams," Kurenai chatted as they walked, her face glowing with youthful exuberance.

Meanwhile, in another cozy little home, Hayato followed Misaki inside. He carefully washed his hands, then went with her into the dining room to have dinner.

"Hayato, we're having your favorite udon tonight. I made it especially for you to celebrate your first official day as a student at the Ninja Academy!" Shota's voice brimmed with pride and joy. He had already laid out the meal, and when he saw Misaki and Hayato return, he hurried over to greet Hayato warmly.

Hayato sat down politely, his chopsticks dancing between the dishes. He ate mouthful after mouthful, as if pouring all his happiness into the bowl of udon.

Seeing this, Shota assumed his son was starving and quickly reminded him, "Don't rush, Hayato. Take your time. There's plenty."

But Hayato had another secret in his heart—he couldn't wait to get back to his room and claim his system rewards.

Misaki paused in surprise and asked with concern, "Hayato, would you like some more? There's still some in the pot."

Watching their son leave, Shota and Misaki exchanged bewildered looks.

"What's gotten into Hayato today? He's not usually like this. Did something special happen at school?" Shota furrowed his brows, unease rising in his heart.

Misaki smiled faintly, a sly glint in her eyes. "Maybe he has a little secret. I heard he's been spending a lot of time with a girl at school."

"Oh? A girl?" Shota's eyes lit up as if he'd discovered a whole new world.

Meanwhile, Hayato was lost in his own world, completely unaware of his parents' gossip. He hurried back to his room and summoned the system panel. Staring at the three tempting reward options, he was so excited that it felt as if he were about to embark on an unknown adventure.

He took a deep breath and decisively pressed the claim button. But just then, something unexpected happened—the system panel began to flicker, and the once-clear text blurred, as if covered in static.
