Yang Chen had barely needed to look to know who the speaker was.
Just as he had expected, it was none other than Lin Tao, who had appeared out of nowhere.
Lin Tao had not come alone. He had brought along his lackeys, at least several dozen of them, seemingly to bolster his presence.
The moment Lin Tao and his lackeys saw Yang Chen, they began shouting, clearly intending to crush him in momentum first and deal him a fierce blow to establish dominance.
No matter what, Yang Chen was definitely about to have a solid accusation pinned over his head.
That was precisely the effect Lin Tao wanted.
Lin Tao looked at Yang Chen with a cold sneer. He refused to believe he could not bring Yang Chen down. Regardless of anything else, he would first slap an accusation onto Yang Chen and see whether he would not panic.
He did not truly believe Yang Chen was a member of the Forbidden Demon Clan. He merely wanted to forcibly saddle him with that identity. What did ordinary people know of the truth? Once rumors spread, a lie repeated often enough became the truth.
This was not the first time he had done such a thing. Unfortunately, Yang Chen had rarely exposed any flaws. Still, he believed that as long as he waited patiently, flaws would eventually appear.
Sure enough, one had appeared now.
Thinking of Yang Chen sneaking into this cave to do some unknown and shady business, Lin Tao grew even more excited. Perhaps Yang Chen really was a member of the Forbidden Demon Clan, and Lin Tao had hit the mark by sheer luck?
With that thought, Lin Tao pointed at Yang Chen's nose and said coldly, "Yang, what else do you have to quibble about now?"
