Once Fang Heng finished speaking, a wondrous power instantly poured out from the statues within the sacred hall. Gold, purple, red, and all manner of colors flowed into Fang Heng's body.
Yang Chen watched those powers and abruptly paled. He could sense within them the power of the laws of heaven and earth, as though they contained something absolute.
"What kind of power is this?" Yang Chen's pupils contracted.
After those powers merged into him, Fang Heng felt only a brief discomfort before quickly returning to normal. He said with a chuckle, "This is the power of our ancestors. When they built this sacred hall, they sealed their power within it."
Yang Chen was not foolish enough to ask how strong those ancestors had been. Even if he asked, Fang Heng might not be able to explain much.
He slowly said, "Then how should this junior swear the oath?"
