Yang Chen smiled. "Brother Xuanfeng, you are too courteous. It was merely what I should have done. Besides, I only lent Brother Zhang Wuhai a hand at the time."
Upon hearing this, Daoist Xuanfeng frowned again.
He had already subtly hinted at it by calling himself this old man and referring to Yang Chen as Young Brother Yang Chen, intending to draw a line between their seniority and relationship. He wanted Yang Chen to understand that no matter how formidable he was, the proper courtesy of addressing an elder still had to be observed.
Yet Yang Chen acted as though he had not heard a thing and opened his mouth to call him Brother Xuanfeng. He truly did not understand etiquette.

If we spread your reputation and say that you are a disciple of our Profound Dao Sect, using it to deter those who bully our Profound Dao Sect, there should be no problem with that, correct?"
"Of course there is no problem," Yang Chen replied without objection.
He had concealed his identity at first only because he still needed to enter the Jade Immortal Realm and did not wish to stir up trouble.
